    About the insurance - if you are out of contract, does that mean your phone is more than two years old? I think you should check the replacement value of your phone, because you might want to think about putting the £60 in an envelope in the drawer and self-insuring.

    What phone have you got? I always see insurance waste of money.

    Are you living on your own or with family?
    If you living with family, you may well get nationwide flex plus current account and pay £10 a month, which cover mobile phone insurance for the whole household.

    Also, do you have home content insurance? you can ask if they can cover your mobile.

    Thanks for the advice. I do live on my own so can look into house insurance if thats a better option. In terms of handset age - not sure. Had mine replaced recently due to an issue with it. Its an I phone 5 which i really like - not sure i would want to have to buy a new one if anything happened!

    Before you commit to a contract with them, try phoning them and see if you can get through, also if you require tech support or just want voicemail switching off they ring you back, only problem is they advise a 48hr time frame for the call back, 1 advantage if you want to cancel is you only have to give 1 month's notice.

    However I have activated my sim but how do I check my minutes/text and GB I have left on my phone? Also is the live chat option on the website working for you? I tried contacting them but no one is anwering on the phone but when I go to live chat and I can't click anything because no popup window pops up. I am so confused. I really appreciate the help here :(

    I assume this is Pay Monthly?

    From the FAQ section of their site:

    How do I check my Pay Monthly Usage?
    You can check your usage on the 'My Account' section of the TPO website. Once you've logged on to the portal, go to the 'Billing' drop down menu and select 'Bundle Usage'.

    From here you can see what you have remaining in your allowance.

    so I got charged 4.54 for using 36MB!?!?!?!? I literally activated the sim today and I should get 4GB am I getting scammed? is this website even legit? Also is the LIVE chat working for you? I cannot contact them whatsoever -_-
    I really really appreciate your help and also I dont see ''Billing' drop down menu and select 'Bundle Usage'.

    How do you know you have been charged £4.54? if you can't check your balance.

    You have to log-in to My TPO at the top of the page.
