How to sell nearly new tyres

Wheels and tires or just tires? Different wheels migbt mean different pcd. Might not.0

Nearly all cars will be able to accommodate at least two wheel and multiple tyre sizes. What's you're new car, have you checked the manufacturer website for all the optional wheel and tyre sizes for your model? It could well be that these tyres could be used with an optional, smaller wheel set.0

is your new car also a bmw?
if so go and have a look at the drivers door pillar and it will have a ratings plate that shows all the tyre sizes and tyre pressures for your car
look at the M&S options and see if there is any 225/50/17,s listed for your car0 -
I have just run your numbers on a tyre site and
the rolling circumference of your 225/45/18,s is 1989.61mm
the rolling circumference of your 225/50/17,s is 1980.86mm
that is a difference of 8.75 mm or 0.44% so well within limits for the rolling circumference0 -
Sounds peachy, pick yourself up some 17" rims for the winter and you're good to go.
Having a spare set of wheels saves the added cost of tyre swapping twice a year.0 -
