How to sell nearly new tyres

We have bought winter tyres last year and want to sell it due to new car (Nearly new car) purchase. Can I trade in at local garage or tyre shop? Whats the best way.

I'd try Gumtree or any other free advertising medium first, but i'd wait until Nov before paying for ebay.

are they just tyres or are they tyres and wheels?

if they are just tyres, have you got a tyre depot near you that sell part worn tyres they may take them off you but you will be shocked at how little they would want to pay you for them

they will sell on e bay and if you can offer a courier then you will have a wider audience and may get a better price

When my wife changed her car, the spare wheels and winter tyres sold really quickly on ebay.

Make sure you research which cars they fit, and give a decent description - including brand/model of tyre, and tread depth.

I sold my used steel wheels and winter tyres on Ebay after I changed cars - cash on collection.

Parcel2Go and other resellers will give you a range of couriers starting from less than half those prices. I've had a wheel with tyre moved for £6 or £7.

What size are they? If they are an unusual size, owners forums may get a better response and be a free ad.

I sold my winter tyres and wheels on ebay and got back pretty much what I paid for them 2 winters previous. The next few months is definitely the right time to sell them, especially if they come with wheels.

As mentioned, what make and size are they?
