I'm in this week. Today's priority needs to be clearing the ironing pile though as well as popping out to see different customers a couple of times. I have loads of programmes/films to catch up on the dvr so will watch them while I clear the ironing. I have a couple of wash loads to do as well so I'm going to put the first in as soon as I've finished this coffee
Minging Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining Room

Renew washing up sponges/cloths - nothing worse than a pongy sponge!!!
30 minutes to spare...
Sweep and mop floors
Clean the oven & hob
Wipe dining table..put some flowers in a pretty vase on it, or a pretty cloth!!
Got an hour...
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc ..
Choose one small appliance to clean thoroughly..
Clean door fronts and insides & fronts of appliances.. don't forget those kick boards..
Extra Mission : help yourself
- Clean the fridge..
- Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
- 33 fling boogie..
- Phone someone you love just to tell them so!!
- Empty the bin.. wash it out.. and make it smell SWEET
Hope this works, but I'll probably leave it on all week, and also look at getting another dehumidifer so we can have one upstairs and one downstairs.
Now I best get moving or I'll still be sat here all day:wave:
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Thank you Dusty for last week, Natty for this week and Ionafan for the Challenge (ooooh clapping and stars - feels good.) Hugs all round for everyone else.
Washed up, dog walked, goldfinches feed (my goodness they're greedy), bins done, bathroom s&sed, WM on, bedroom tidied, floordrobe sorted and two beds stripped. Masses more to do just to make the place look presentable so that I can get back to sewing.Better is good enough.0 -
mrs money penny This doesn't sound at all right. Were lymph nodes removed during surgery and tested? Should have had accurate info then. Also, agree that the appointment should have taken place before that letter sent. I would certainly make a complaint. On the other hand, radiotherapy suggests a precautionary approach, rather than definitely spread. Hope the appointment will make clear, and sending very best wishes. It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0

thank you all for your very kind good wishes for mil, we are back from hospital. mil wasnt happy. consultant very apologetic and said it should not have happened like that.
when mil had the original surgery they decided to leave the lymph nodes in as they discovered a heart problem about a week before the surgery, so it was decided to do it with epidural so minimise the risk and dr said he would need her under too long to do that op and remove lymph nodes so would sooner reassess after. then when we went for the last check nodes were swollen. he told us today one side in particular looked abnormal indicating something not right. he had discussed radiotherapy and asked for her to be refered for that but didnt think she would be told till after we had this mornings appt.
mil originally wanted surgery rather than radiotherapy but is going to discuss it with radiotherapy person on thursday then decide rather than starting treatment then.
i think this is going to best best as he said if he operates and removed the nodes shell still need radiotherapy after but may not need operation if the radiotherapy works and shrinks it enough to clear it.
bit of a rush as everything clashed this morning id already got DS2 booked in with orthodontist so DD2 stepped up and took him then came to the hospital to give up a lift back home.SPC~12 ot 124
