You cheeky thing ;) !! Honestly.....the girls of today :o....asking a man about his panties  !!! Whatever next  ??

I haven't posted for a while as I have just been feeling a bit presured with work and all of things I have to do before I finish for Christmas. I think its the rushing around that led to the 'panties problem.' I put my left foot in the right hole and my right foot in the left....I'm sure everybody has done it at least once :p !!

So.....NOA is now 'NOAh?' Well she may be a little bit cheeky but I think the 'h' must stand for 'heavenly'......doesn't it :) ??

Dear Diary (and anybody nice enough to drop in:))

It's a time of year where days are short, nights are long and the looming 'Crimbo' causes a change in everybody's behavioural patterns. Whether it is fretting about the cost of entertaining relatives, buying for the younger generation or simply wondering how it will all be afforded......a mixture of all. Maybe it is worst for those on their own who feel they may be 'missing out.' It is supposed to be the season of goodwill so lets do our best. But Christmas takes up 2 weeks of the year and that leaves 50 weeks which I suggest are better for everything we are trying to enjoy or achieve than Christmas / New Year itself but I know that is a personal view :) !! I am looking forward to TWO weeks away from work......I don't even mind if its Christmas :) !!

Our local Sainsbug's (big) supermarket is accessed via a dual (off road) carriageway going past Sainsbug's petrol station and into the car park. 4x4's are speeding, swerving and overtaking each other on this little bit of road in an insane rush to get in. When I see the lives of people jeopardised by this thoughtless, gross shopping obsession it makes me soooooo mad and makes me feel very detached from quite a large proportion of my fellow human beings. I first felt this about ten years ago at that site and it is coming around again....like it always will :( !!

If I want to be safe - buy my diesel elsewhere........Mozza's!!! Yes!! The Match and More Card is working unbelievably well now. I am so embarrassed that my purchasing habits have been influenced by this desperate ploy to improve Mozza's fortunes but.........they have :o (that's the embarrased emoticon btw!!)

I was going to give the 'fool's' financial update but I want to do it when I have more energy and can do it better.......its no great 'giant culling' I can tell you now now :( . Somebody somewhere might relate to Brogden's experiences in the underworld though :)

There's an MSE-style chilli just about ready and I am quite in the mood for it if I'm honest :) !! I'll get up early I promise......will get loads done I promise (that's for my boss if he's looking in :rotfl:!!!)

Go you Brogden. Your boss looking in!! Not a comforting thought. I just have to remember that the shops are closed for 1 day. No need to stock up for a seige.
I hope the envelopes ae still working for you.

I'm loving the M & M card - the reason I like it is you can see the results very quickly in that once you get to 5000 you get the voucher whereas for Tesco you have to wait for the vouchers to be posted (can't remember if 2 or 3 times a year).

I have now got 4 of my 6 Xmas bonus weeks and have £15 in vouchers - I will be able to pay for my xmas shop using my bonus week tokens and my vouchers:beer:
As I don't actually need much from a supermarket at Xmas I expect I will just buy the drink we need (mainly fizzy pop but also some rum for DH) or stock up for the new year.

I am buying enough so that I don't have to leave the house and go near a shop from 24/12 until 5/1:T
