I'm sure they've lost money on the campaign one way or another. For a start, it's cost them loads to send pitchers out by Special Delivery, when they were expecting to send them by standard post with the Royal Mail. Also, they've angered GM, who've apparently said they won't be using them again. You can't put a price on the damage to RPM's reputation, never mind GM's, but I bet they'll still be totting up the bill months from now. With Christmas coming up, they might have been able to get a campaign for GM & other drinks off the back of it, but I think there's no chance of that now. Picture the meeting:

RPM: We'd like to pitch to advertise your product in time for Christmas.
Client: Have you worked on other alcohol products recently?
RPM: Yes, GM
Client: How did it go?
RPM: A few small issues but nothing we couldn't handle.

Client then rings GM: Were you happy with RPM's handling of your recent campaign?
GM: Two words, "p*ss-up" and "brewery", come to mind. You can fill in the gaps for yourself.

End of pitch.
