E Cigarettes

That's fine in principle, as long as both are made from the same/safe chemicals. The point I was making earlier is that there is often a reason why there is a price disparity. And I really hope that whatever cheaper alternative is being used to allow the lower prices, is safe.
Of course it could just be some are pricing the same stuff higher, but without any regulation, how do you know for sure?
As for the hardware (batteries and drip tips), it really doesn't make any difference so that's a good (safe!) saving to make.
I'm talking about the same bottle of liquid, from the same manufacturer, 100% genuine and proven safe within current standards, which I buy at £1.75 delivered (when I order 10) which some shops are selling in NI for between £4 - £6.0 -

Some friends in Cootehill, which is not much further south than here, still call one of their fields the Tobacco field.
The dope men seem to be able to do it, although usuallly under glass.
Some smokers do grow their own. It's a niche hobby. Not something I ever had the notion for though, even when you consider the savings.0 -

Ah fair enough. Its nearly always going to be cheaper to buy in bulk over the internet than single units from a shop with overheads etc.
Don't get me wrong mate. You can quite easily pay £6 a bottle for the same stuff over the internet. Just as you can get 10 bottles for £2 each in at least one place I know which is most definitely in an advantageous High Street position within a 10 mile radius of my house.
What I'm trying to do here is encourage people to look at what they're paying against what I'm paying. Also BigAl introduced the worthwhile subject of fake goods which may be harmful to the unwary.
10 bottles isn't really what I would consider a bulk buy. Two packets of quality cigarettes would cost the same and they would last a lot of smokers around two days. 10 bottles of juice last me about 6 weeks.0 -
I have been "vaping" for a year now -and have not touched a cigarette since.
For those that do not know the PG in the e-juice provides the throat hit and the VG provides the vapour. So if you like loads of vapour get a juice with higher VG.
E-cigs are basically a battery and atomiser (clearomiser) - For those thinking of starting out I highly recommend an EVod starter kit. I get my juice from a seller on internet, to whom I know sells safe high quality juice, at only £1.50 for 10mls and will supply the juice at whatever PG/VG mix you want, I go for 50/50 mix.
You also specify the nicotine strength required, I use 12mg but for some-one just quitting I would suggest 18mg or 24mg to start with. The nicotine is vaporised so is diluted already when it gets in your system (you cant therefore compare cigarette nicotine strength to e-juice nicotine)
If any-one wants any more info on a good starter kit or juice just PM me.
I am not an expert but believe me over the last year I have tried them all and if I can help any-one stop smoking I will happily point you in the right direction.0 -
What's the website, rolo? I like the idea of a custom mix.
It's going to be Mr E-Cig. UK based, sell most 10ml bottles at £1.50 plus £2.50 P&P. I buy ten bottles a time and it works out then at £1.75 a bottle.
I'm less keen on the idea of starter kits but if you're going to buy them get them from somewhere like VaporBreak. As long as you buy eGo batteries you can't go wrong. There are 100's of drip tips on the market - I prefer Nature Vape. VaporBreak are in Hong Kong so their prices are minuscule compared to UK retail. The only downside is that sometimes delivery take a couple of weeks. Totally reliable but don't order juices from them even though they're only around 60p a bottle, as HK customs could seize the entire package. Sometimes they get through but not always.0 -

What reason are HK customs giving for seizures? I'm assuming the exporter does not hold the relevant chemical export licence(s)?
To be honest I haven't been able to fathom the reports supplied to me by the Chinese seller. I got one batch of juices through at the very start at 60p a bottle. Then a batch didn't arrive and after two months I was informed that customs had seized it because it contained juices.
I discussed the issue with the friend who introduced me to the company in the first place and who had been buying from them for five years. He admitted it was a bit of a lottery getting juices through and it was up to me if I wanted to run the gauntlet with them or not.
I chose not to. I still order batteries from them because, even with P&P they're still less than half the price of UK suppliers. Between that, Mr E-Cig for juices and Nature Vape for replacement coils, I'm pretty well set up so I no longer look for other suppliers.0 -

The liquids from MR E Cig are mostly PG based. I'm after some of rolo's 50/50 mix.
I did buy some stuff from Mr E Cig (on your recommendation) but I found a lot of items were out of stock.
Their website didn't work at all in Opera (didn't add items to the cart) and not very well in IE10 (added the items but did not update the cart until I went and viewed it).
They seem to be prompt though - I received a "despatched" email about 10 minutes after placing the order (if I believe them).0 -

They do have some VG stuff but I'm only interested in a particular product and they always have it. I've noticed the number of out of stock items, as have other friends of mine, but as you say they're always prompt and ultimately it's the fact that these are genuine products, very well priced, which arrive quickly.0
