Did not manage either a walk (due to the hail) or a NSD yesterday (due to the hot chocolate at uni) but did have a good day, so I think the £2.50 was worth it. Will be a spendy day again today as need a few food bits to get me through to payday, but hopefully with the addition of a walk at lunchtime if the rain holds off. At least it's friday, even if I have a lot of studying to do this weekend!
NSDs: 5/16
Petrol (till 15th Oct) £0/£0
Groceries (till 15th Oct) £2.50/ £20

Good morning!
Finally sunny here and it's Friday.
Last night i submitted our meter readings. With me being home on mat leave and now having the heating on a bit i was expecting the DD to go up, so from Nov it'll be £90 instead of £85 for gas and leccy. Still not too bad. Might go up again later in the year though.
Not much else to report. Today should be another SFD.
Tada
P.S. just realised i've not logged any exercise. Does carrying a 3yo for half a mile from the bus count?DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
Morning all
Resisted the lure of a taxi to work when I was running late & it was raining this morning, so SFD intact for now. 2 miles clocked up, another 2 miles on the way home, but probably not quite such a speedy time
Takes me to 8 SFD's for the month if I manage to hold out today and Him doesn't manage to ruin it with his parents.
Tomorrow defo need to spend. Got a voucher for Mr L, but not sure I need to spend that much and it would clean out my budget for the month. Will need bread, and milk, chorizo & cheese. Anything else is unnecessary.
See you tomorrow guys.
A black belt only covers 2 inches of your a$$ - You have to cover the rest yourself - Royce Gracie0 -
nannygladys - hope you are feeling better now.
CEW - wow to your stoicism with your tooth! Hope it all gets sorted soon for you. Sounds like you hade a great day at work!
mothernerd - to quote you: 'Really am nearly finished on the house, now.' Am SOOOOO pleased to hear this!!! Well done you. :T
Samiszel - to the gown! Could you make one out of black curtains and some ribbon????
Calling - you may have had to move your DFD back, but at least you have a date and are being extremely proactive in paying your debt off. You are already waaaay ahead of most people, so treat yourself to some TLC and be proud of yourself. And good luck with the job hunting.
lilt - wow to the NSDs you are racking up! :T And boo hiss to your work dumping on you like that. Hope you dripped all over them today! I know what you mean about not really needing enough shopping to warrant using the voucher - I was thinking the same. It would be a false economy (ie a waste of money!!!) to spend unnecessarily. After all, we ARE on the debt-busting thread!!!
luckystarr - hello! Good to see you again! Hang in there - it will come together one day for you.
soa - you are up very very early!
thrifty - that's not a bad rise for gas and leccy. And yes, I reckon carrying a 3yo counts as exercise! I still do it with a 6 and three quarter yo at times! I prefer apiggy back but she wants a front carry so she can snuggle into my neck!
I have doen my first bout of exercise in 16 days! Pesky coldy virussy thingy! I did 300 jump squats and then 100 sandbag (25lb) deadlifts. Took about 16 mins. Now, each time I get up, it gets harder and my legs get more wobbly!
Good news :j:j:j. The re-arranged delivery had been delivered and we have a new bouncy hopper. I will have such a happy child this afternoon!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
2nd leg: October 11-20 The BIKE
The bike leg is a time to sit back and look around as you maybe coast along following your plan. It is sometimes a ‘less frenetic’ part of the month and is often the ‘meh’ part of the month, so take time to dream, to plan big things, to start a plan of action to realise your dreams. Where do you want to be in 3 months from now? 1 year? 5 years? Dream big – don’t be limited by your current situation. Read up on other people’s diaries and be inspired.
