Hospital visiting tomorrow so more money out of the budget but I've got a lift back.
Might treat my self to some chocolate while I'm out. That won't help the thin and rich part of the plan.

Caeraugirl - thank you for asking about teaching. I am currently working as a support worker with children and young people with LD. I am wanting to work in a Specialised school as a teaching assistant. I have applied for a voluntary place just waiting for a reply. I have NVQ level 3 in health and social care. Would anybody be able to give me advice on what qualifications I would need to be looking at ??
Thanks in advance ... off to bed got another early start tomorrow.

Late check in for yesterday, fun spend on foody bits for a night in of eating and catching up on goss! Found out that an old friend i lost touch with years ago has bought a beautiful listed house which has left me feeling a bit funnyNot that Im jealous or anything, just left me wondering where Ive gone wrong
The car exhaust has started to blow today so I predict a rather large spend heading my way boo hiss! I think its developed a little hole after getting caught on the edging separating the drive and pavementI close my eyes and grit my teeth every time I hear the scrape if Ive caught it at a certain angle!

phoenix that listed building prob comes with a silly mortgage, huge council tax and heating bills, endless costly regulation when you need to repair sth etc etc etc. Might not be as good as it seems. Friends of ours have this 1/4 million mansion but are constantly struggling and on the verge of loosing it whereas initially i was Soooo jealous. Never know. However I know how it feels. Other friends were both lucky with the money they made on their then cheap student flats and now own this big house with a small mortgage, but again huge upkeep. Nevermind, some day. No point fretting over the past, we're making our future.
Hope your car repair is not too dear.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
Happy weekend everyone! Been doing a bit of budgeting this morning - emptied my savings into my current account earlier in the month after my unexpected trip up north, but have moved them back today as I have enough in my current account to get me through to payday on wednesday! So that feels like a small triumph. Looking forward to having my whole salary to budget without my overdraft and fighting the urge (I have YNAB) to budget before I receive the income.
Applemuncher - I've never been very good on a bike, but I will try for you!! Hope to get at least 3 NSDs in before payday, although either today or tomorrow I will need to buy bagels and fruit for lunch for next week.

Hi all.
I had a spendy day yesterday, I had to buy a new non stick pan as the little milk pan I have isn't big enough to do 3 big portions of porridge in, also bought some nachos and chocolate for the kids.
Today we are calling in to town to drop some bags at the charity shop, get some library books and pay some money in to the bank, later we are taking the kids on a bike ride and then me and DH will go for a proper bike ride later.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
