Good morning :) Back at work today, still feel carp but very busy :(

Few ebay sales last night, couple have paid so have sent £5.22 to sains cc, more to send when rest of people pay :)

Gas bill received this morning, am still £4 in credit but will leave that for now and monitor next month but they are reducing the direct debit from £18 to £16 a month so that will help overall :) Still waiting for my electric bill, should be another credit due but have to wait and see.

May put up a new SOA and see how it compares to previous.

    Target 1 - Insurance Savings overspend £156 - £131

    Target 2 - new - Sains CC - £183.90 - Now £160.69
    Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!
    Mortgage 13-1-25 - £63K

    So my SOA (brief version)...

Salary £1513 plus a few pennies each month. Unfortunately no opportunity to get overtime.

    Bills:-
    £788 Mortgage
£114 council tax (single person discount)
    £35 electricity
£18 gas (may be able to reduce this, just need to keep monitoring)
£33 water (cant get meter as would need to change pipework as shared supply so at present not worth the cost)
    £53 tv, broadband, landline
    £12 tv licence
£15 bank a/c charges (use for phone insurance, car breakdown, travel insurance etc)
    £80 fuel
    £33 mobile phone
    £182 hossie livery
    £90 hossie food/bedding
    £100 groceries
    £50 hossie trainer
£1603 (you can see a trend here :()

    Debts:-
    £390 - Sofa repayment on 0% interest - pay £30.15/month
    £5706 - Bcard CC - on 0% interest - pay approx £120/month
    £415 - Sains CC - on 18.9% interest - pay approx £10/month
    Total £6511
    Repayments £160/month (min payments)

    Total to pay out £1763/month

I keep £50 spare each month for misc spending so total up to £1810 a month.

I am aware I am about £300 a month short and at current my mum is subsidising me.

I am also aware that I have no savings and no money each month put aside for things like insurance etc.

New SOA March 2015 - the one above was September 2014. Changes in red

Salary £1513 plus a few pennies each month. Unfortunately no opportunity to get overtime. (no change)

    Bills:-
    £788 Mortgage
£114 council tax (single person discount)

    £50 hossie trainer
    £1603 (you can see a trend here :() Now £1563 - Saving of £40

    Debts:-
    Was £390 Now £209 - Sofa repayment on 0% interest - pay £30.15/month
    Was £5706 Now £5087 - Bcard CC - on 0% interest - pay approx £115/month
£415 Sains CC Was Now 0
    Total £6511 - Now £5296
Repayments £160/month (min payments) Now £145

I keep £50 spare each month for misc spending so total up to £1810 a month. Now £1758 - total saving of £52 a month

So over a few months have managed reductions of around £50:-
    £2 a month gas
    £3 a month tv/broadband/phone
    £20 a month fuel
    £15 on hoss food/bedding
£15 on debt payments (due to min payments decreasing each time)

Good morning, so am off sick had a nasty sinus/chest infection :( Will go back tomorrow as have lots to do. Have done nothing all weekend, managed to get out of hours GP apptmt thursday evening got some happy pills to take but taking a long time to work.

Bonus is I havent spent anything all weekend, sitting in bed does that for you.

Have got some shopping today, wasnt sure on bank account so have put on credit card. Now am home have managed to work out my finances. Credit card with spends today wen up by £48.99 :( but have had some money in and new total below.

Had another ebay sale, some survey money has landed, found £12.39 in an old savings account which I have now shut down and my expenses were paid. Checked my account and have paid £100 off, using my overdraft but hardly attracts any interest so thats ok. Have left myself enough in my account to cover my Bcard payment due out this week and £30 bunce. Shouldnt need this as am not going anywhere, have plenty of fuel and food and £20 cash in my purse. New sains total is £39 which I can pay of easily with next months hoss food budget so will be back on track :)

Decided to empty my emergency savings as was short £25 in my insurance target so that is now complete. Need to start again in my targets but at least have nearly completed all the interim targets :)

    Target 1 - Insurance Savings overspend £156 - £156 - complete :D

    Target 2 - new - Sains CC - £183.90 - Now £39.87

Was pleased before that have managed to make savings in my monthly budget and then today my council tax and water bill has landed :(

Water is going up £2 a month, least this is cancelled out by saving in gas bill.

Council tax is going up £10 a month :( So have to cut back a little bit more to try and find this now, bah.

I cancelled my hoss trainer this weekend as was too poorly, had the money put aside so will be up on myself for next time.
