Take it your advice is to keep on ignoring then!! Is this a recent thing with UKCPS then, getting Miah Solicitors to send out these letters? Has it gone any further with anyone else, cos it it has I would just rather put this thing to bed now.

UKCPS used to use a company called "Court Proceedings Ltd", their paperwork looked very official and even included the "scales of justice " logo. It was all hogwash of course.

You said in your opening post that the parking incident was almost 2 years ago - this was around the time of the introduction of PoFA 2012. If the date was prior to 1st October 2012, let us know. No need to reply if it was afterwards.

I would not name the driver. To take action against a keeper, UKCPS would have to produce compliant NTD and NTK letters and they didn't have these in 2012 (they still don't!!).

Personally I would reply as per Blissikins letter as obviously it worked in her case (see her thread, UKCPS cancelled).

If you don't mind me asking, why are the letters non compliant? Also, would this be something I could use against them even though I can't find any of the previous letters I recieved?

Every PPC in 2012 had non-compliant Notice to Keeper letters because the Act began in October 2012 and none of them had the brains to get the wording right. PPC World, in general is made up of ex clampers, moneygrabbers, wannabes, megalomaniacs and chancers - and they are...how shall I put it? Almost all thick. I recall UKCPS efforts at 'NTKs' in 2012 and 2013 and they were among the worst even though all it took was a bit of copying some words from the Act! Yes of course you could use it in any defence as they'd have to show the documents to try to establish keeper liability. And in any case, they usually lose on dodgy signs in court when they try a claim!

Have you read all the recent UKCPS/Miah threads and the ParkingTicketAppeals Blog about Miah and Ian Brill and bankruptcy...and worse?! This week we've found out stuff. Search for 'Miah' and settle down and read more threads.

Yes have read quite a bit now. Seems Miah are more cowboy than the PPC's themselves. Just weighting up weather its best just to ignore still or send a letter similar to Blissikins. As Miah have only just seemed to have cropped up recently, there's no way of knowing what there next move might be. I am starting to think very little!!
