I'm the same - having sorted out 2 bedrooms, utility room and 4 loft spaces (dormer bungalow so not got a proper loft) and 3 freezers I am totally shocked at how much stuff I have. Apart from milk, bread, fruit and veg I don't need to buy anything for around 2 years minimum as its just the 2 of us. Its a darn good job that best before dates have never bothered me.

I'm dreading any major glitches as I know I will really struggle to resist them. Its bad enough that I have about £30 in a CC apg that I don't know what to do with.

This glitchy lark is so addictive and its almost impossible to break the habit short of getting both legs hitched up in traction so you can't physically get off the bed !

    Here here. :D

I have found stuff going back to 2012. Not been able to get to it easy has been the problem. :o

Does anyone think those glitchy boots energising shots will still be ok, the ones in the little silver bottles. They are very OOD.

The last udis shop I did they were oos at my local for c&c, worked well for apg. I was going to pay for this shop using evouchers but if they are oos again I presume I will lose the vouchers - am I best paying cash just in case? TIA

On the subject of spiders, can I ask why people are so scared of these harmless creature?

My Mrs has an irrational fear of them and has passed it on to the kids!

Im often asked to remove the, I just cup them in my hand and put them out....or just scare them off and tell them I've put them out!!;)

my stupid and irrational fear came from being a toddler and dad watching dr who with the spiders in, i woke up that night screaming the spiders were in my cot, and mum had to put the matress on the floor to get me to sleep, would never go back in the cot and was terrified of spiders from that day, and I know its stupid and they can not hurt me but I can not help it :o:o:o:o:o

    How could you Locarr.

Although I often think Mr TS does this too. ;)

I have a spider in the corner of my upstairs hall at the moment and no way of reaching it even if I stood on a chair. Can't even get to a step ladder as still jam packed in the shed.

I'm ok if it just stays where it is until sunday evening when Mr TS will be back for a flying visit. ;)

For stuff you suspect may be OOS, yes. For the fillers i use the shrapnel.

Im not scared of them but the thought of one being in my bedroom and me being asleep and said spider crawling into my mouth worries me . Hence the conker in my bedroom but the spiders have freedom in the rest of the house. Strangely enough, since putting the conker in my bedroom, I haven't seen any spiders elsewhere in the house. Just hope I don't get mice instead. Rather have the spiders :o

Thanks Henrik :) For some reason it hadn't crossed my mind to only part pay with vouchers :o

    Good morning :)

... I've been trying to overcome this fear for years and a few times have almost succeeded but in times of stress I go back to being irrationally scared again  It really is frustrating as I'd like to overcome this phobia once and for all

    Hi Evangeline :T:

ditto and I thought I'd sorted mine out too. I give my spiders pet names and as long as they stay on the ceiling corners/stay out of my way its ok. Used to chat to 'my mates' who used to come out on to the ceiling to warm bathe when I put the electric heater on in a very old house when I was a student. Till OH (boyfriend at time) informed me very enthusiastically about the amount of spiders he'd seen and killed when I was out one night  I can't do the lets stomp them/whack em to death and have to rescue them from baths/sinks albeit with very long strands of loo paper lol.

Anyhow after training myself to be fairly relaxed around them I decided to make sure my DS was not afraid of spiders. So babe on hip we investigated a spider (I now know an outside one) on the back gate post. Anyhow spider runs away from finger cue giggles all round then spider runs towards my finger and jumps towards us - eek - I jumped back in horror. DS saw my look of shock and has been frightened of spiders ever since so that worked not.:o This year he has been really bad and think its becoming a phobia :( - he won't go up stairs or in same room if one there and genuinely upset - so I am worried for him when his mates discover his foible). He is now 12 - currently on the threshold of his bedroom is a line of 6 conkers :rotfl: And no we haven't seen a spider in his room since. So worth a try Evangeline

His favourite superhero? Well Spiderman of course. lol

DD seems ok - so if we ever get any money again high on list is hypnotherapy for spiders for son can't think of any thing else. Anyone tried it ?

but why are you scared of them?

I tell the kids that they are good and eat all the other nasties, earwigs, ants, wasps etc

    Spiders are good!!

there was an article on the news earlier about jumping spiders!!

    I won't post a pic!
