I am this week having to cook for myself. :rotfl:

Question to all the other heater uppers does cooking fresh broccoli count as cooking or heating up. :o

Had it with 20p noodles (microwaved), already cooked chicken and 20p hoisin sauce for flavour. DD3 nearly ate it all. :D

morning all xx hope everyone is well

this made me laugh tiny:D, I would definatly class it as cooking as the broccoli was fresh and raw, and your trimmed and cooked it in a pan and then combined ingredients to make an edible meal so big yourself up a bit you are now a cook and not just a heater upper:rotfl:

  • Good morning everyone

Not caught up yet, been dealing with oh hospital appointments, he had a bowel check up yesterday, all clear :j but he has been worried, I think it was because he got to see a specialist so quick, it took two weeks from seeing his own doctor to seeing a specialist, yuck they even gave him pictures of the inside of his bowels _pale_ He still has more procedures to go through but at least they are not life threatening, which is a relief

Anyway I died while fighting for your country in World War II
    Died
Hundreds of millions of people died during World War II, but your death was quite special.
You died while freeing a Nazi concentration camp and saving the lives of dozens of kids. Those kids survived and lived a full life thanks to you! You should be proud of your-past-self!

Relocating my stash is bringing me to my senses. :o No shopping except for fresh food for me in the last week. ;)

I had no idea how much I had squeezed in everywhere. Being OCD you can fill a small gap with a mountain of tins/jars without realising it.

I'm the same - having sorted out 2 bedrooms, utility room and 4 loft spaces (dormer bungalow so not got a proper loft) and 3 freezers I am totally shocked at how much stuff I have. Apart from milk, bread, fruit and veg I don't need to buy anything for around 2 years minimum as its just the 2 of us. Its a darn good job that best before dates have never bothered me.

I'm dreading any major glitches as I know I will really struggle to resist them. Its bad enough that I have about £30 in a CC apg that I don't know what to do with.

This glitchy lark is so addictive and its almost impossible to break the habit short of getting both legs hitched up in traction so you can't physically get off the bed !

Yes I did all that. :D

I have a confession I can actually cook if I put my mind to it, I do an amazebobs veggie lasagne. ;)

I always cooked when I was married before but when I got together with Mr TS he was happy to do it all so I didn't complain. :D

I am bit slow though and I frustrate him if I do try which is why I only tend to heat up and I have to have a sparkling clean kitchen with all the decks cleared before I start which living with Mr TS doesn't happen often he always has something on the go.

It's lovely this week not having any coffee grounds to clear up they seem to get everywhere when he is home. :rotfl:

On the subject of spiders, can I ask why people are so scared of these harmless creatures?

My Mrs has an irrational fear of them and has passed it on to the kids!

Im often asked to remove them, I just cup them in my hand and put them out....or just scare them off and tell them I've put them out!!;)
