I agree QOC, everyone is frightened of something.

I really hate mushrooms & fungus. When I am out walking I hate it when you see a big group of mushrooms or fungus growing in the woods or fields.. Yuck. I don't know what it is. I think it's the way they grow like parasites on rotten trees etc._pale_
I never eat mushrooms either. Yuck. Something very weird about them.

Anyway, changing the subject. I noticed this on T.com.

"Alpro Yogurt for 50p when you buy Tosco blueberries 150g, raspberries 150g or strawberries 227g
Valid until Mon 13th Oct 2014"

Not sure if that is just online or instore too? The yoghurt is Alpro Natural Yogurt 500G.

*If* it is instore too, it might work with fruit from the reduced cabinet?

    Good Morning,

I splashed out and bought the Panasonic breadmaker yesterday that Bubbs brought over from HUKD (thanks Bubbs) and it arrived this morning. :j
It looks brand new and was still shrink wrapped. There was a slight dent in the box which it said there would be when looking at the listing on ebay.
I can't remember who it was that was worried about getting a second hand one, but I hope this info helps you decide.

Now do I go out in the rain and get the ingredients at the extortionate CO-OP prices or do I wait until tomorrow.
    MMM decisions:rotfl:

It was me! Thanks, I'll send the link to DH again with a much stronger hint about Christmas :D

I did look at the Amazon new one again but it's shot up to £117 now, which must be because people have been looking at the page and reading reviews. I think the ebay version sounds like a bargain though, so I'll be going for that if I can!

As an MSE-er, I'd recommend waiting to get cheap ingredients, but I know if it was me in your position then I'd want to have a go as soon as it arrived, even if that meant going to Co-Op, so don't listen to me :rotfl:

OMG I just watched this and it made me jump out of my skin so much that the other ladies in the office looked over and wondered what was happening! :rotfl:

Can't believe I jumped at a video, let alone a video where I knew what was coming! :o

i have conkers in every room in my house. I dont worry about them attracting mice, my asbo cat would soon have that dealt with :rotfl:

    -

Humm... I can now admit to what happened last week.... Our cat flap is now permanently locked.

Our cats are good at dispatching mice but often bring them in live and let them go - occasionally the little things escape and we either wait for cats to dispatch (they will wait next to couch, radiator, vacuum cleaner wherever mouse escaped to) or catch them to release them if they are not injured (I've become very good at this). Family teamwork at its best lol. But I have reached the end of my tether ...

Last week quick tidy up, vacuum of carpet. As soon as switch vac on strange noise and what looks like a conker flew out :( - curse Ds bend to get conker and realise squashed mouse head  - must have been hiding in the beater bar compartment and cats stopped guarding vac - we didn't see them bring it in :o. So strip machine down to find rest of body and clean line of blood on carpet - was not a good time to talk of beheading a mouse last week. Urrrghhhhh

Edit Forgot to say ancient hedgerow over the road at back of house where cats make a beeline for so there is a constant supply from outside ......

Think my DS was about 2 years old - small wonder he won't entertain them at all now...... Bad mummy ....... :o
