Plant your bulbs now. Slugs Dont bother with them so they'll be fine when they start to emerge in the spring.
I wonder if you got the same mixed packs as me? I have 25 small ones in a brown paper bag. Im guessing these are alliums by the size.
The other mixed bag is plastic and has 10 bigger sized bulbs in. I think these are daffs, most probably miniature ones. Definately no tulips in mine, they're not big enough.
Im quite excited to see what emerges
It hissing it down here
Thanks FC, my planters are plagued with slugs. The neighbours think I'm nuts moving them every night to get the slugs but they seem to get into my house through the hole made for the sky cable. I've put everything on to close the gap but they still get in so might be through the air brick in the wall so have started washing the wall with salt water and have salt spread on the 'path'
I tried to look mine up and got as far as anemones (brown, hard, wrinkled bulbs), there were brown and some white skinned bulbs that look a bit like tête-à-tête but the sprouting from the white skinned ones look a bit like a plant I've bought from M&S (they're sold at the same time as the tête-à-tête and have bunches of small blue/purple flowers). The other two packs look the same and one is daffs so guessing they all are. I would have loved tulips but can spend my money on those as these were free
