It keeps the slug count down though I occasionally get them inside but have had a huge improvement since I put copper tape down where they were getting in. Might be an idea for you if you know where they are coming from? Copper pipe works as well, or of you want to be really :money::money::money: some pennies and 2 pences on the floor next to the hole.

I've had an email confirmation today to say my M&S current account application has been accepted and I should receive the forms in a few days. Thanks, I've some off cuts of copper piping so will put those behind the planters. Haven't had any inside in a while but am a bit paranoid about there maybe being eggs or baby ones hiding somewhere.
Have caught some of the wee boogers outside up above my front door frame over the past few nights so will have to get my pasting brush and extension pole out to put salt further up the outside wall. I only know a few of my neighbours so don't really care if the rest think I'm nuts :rotfl:
