Does anyone else have a shirt folder http://www.amazon.co.uk/Adult-Clothes-Tshirts-Folder-Organizer/dp/B003W490U2 ? It's the best thing I ever bought, I love how it makes the clothes lookEveryone laughed when we saw that Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory has one one too, and so reinforcing OHs opinion that I am a female version of Sheldon but less intelligent

Good morning everyone
I have an adult one and a smaller one for my DS - we stopped using them once the novelty wore off as we find it faster to fold without it
I do like this method of folding, although I have not tried it myself yet

Hi all - late start for me as been busy sorting bits and bobs out. Just did a spreadsheet with my grocery spend and apgs and since last Friday We have spent £200 on groceries  And I have £59 apgs pending.
As it has been ds2s birthday we have spent a little more than usual but I am still shocked at the bill. There are 4 of us at home - but I really need to get the grocery spend under control. Can I ask the Elite with kiddies if they have managed to get their shopping bills down to a manageable amount?
My freezer is well stocked so not much spending to be done in the next week or 2 but will still need to top up on fresh veggies, fruit, milk, bread....
Shocking though it may seem, I have never totted up what we spend on groceries and I would have said £70 a week - seems I am way outScary to think what I must have been spending in the past and not getting any money back from anywhere.
There's 6 of us, but two are under 2. I'm managing to spend 50 ish a week. That doesn't include nappies but does include cat food for 3 cats.
I've done various things to reduce the budget and I think you have to play around to find what suits you.
The first thing I did though was make sure I recorded everything! It's amazing how the odd extra packet of sweets etc adds up. (Especially with my dh's sweet tooth!)
I make sure I cook from scratch where possible and freeze extra portions. I buy the long life stuff in bulk, so only when it's on offer. I have found that it's unrealistic to just stick to the cheap things as sometimes we used more because they're smaller or because they're cheap or they just didn't taste nice!
When you make your budget, stick to it. It's hard at first especially if you see a good offer, but if you overspend on a good offer each week then it will soon have you back up to spending silly amounts!
It's also a good idea to budget for treats or have a bit set by for takeaway or something. If you restrict yourself too much you just feel like it's miserable and not worth it. (At least, that's how we felt.)
I have found that I am often able to get about half my @ shop back in APGs so that helps with the following week. Not everything compares in a glitchy way but that extra 10% often means a little more can be squeezed out. And of course, coupons etc help. (Particularly if they let you overspend :money: )

If it had been successful, shop would have cost £31 including delivery. It wasn't, so it cost £54.75. APG is for £37.95.

Mango and chilli sauce doesn't go with cheese in a sandwich at all - logically I thought it would, but no
Think it might be Dr O for tea as I'm feeling lazy - has anyone else made the decision that they must stop buying pizza? I don't think I've had as many as some of you, but it must be creeping on for 30 now and there's only 2 of us...or do I just need to reorganise my freezer?!Final cigarette smoked 02/01/18

Hope everyone is well.
Can I just ask, has anyone placed any orders on Boots.com and had them cancelled? I've just had 2 cancelled and I am majorly !!!!ed off. It's not my fault, they had a triple offer on Elizabeth Arden, buy 2 items and get a free gift, buy 3 items and get a free gift, and get a free gift anyway. I think the total of the free gifts was about £100 but that's besides the point, why on earth have numerous offers if all you are going to do is cancel orders? Unless I have been blacklisted. Can I ask the "elite" for some advice please?
For weeks now I've been battling with DD, regarding tidying up after herself. I'm fighting a loosing battle at the moment but mr monkey thinks I'm expecting too much... She's 8 but very intelligent way beyond her age. She's very well mannered, knows how to behave but this is driving me
She leaves empty wrappers around instead of carrying them to the bin, leaves her pj's on the floor instead of under the pillow, leaves her wardrobe or drawers open when she's got something out. Same with any cupboard downstairs. Finishes reading a book, leaves it on the floor not back on the shelf,
She has a shelf of teddies if she takes one off and some fall she leaves them... And don't get me started on loom bands
Do you think im asking too much expecting an 8 year old to do these things without being reminded?
I know in the "circle of life" these aren't major issues but it won't be long before little man starts to copy!!0 -

If you are lucky, like DeeDee, the razors will scan in your store at £5 and compare £11 v £5.49.
If you are anyone, like me, 2 x Radox plus the hairbrush or the empty bottle will cost £3, apg for £2.45.0
