    Morning/afternoon all

Went to pick your own farm yesterday and lost out on Ideal Home Show tickets :( If someone sees any giveaway or competition to win some please give me a shout.

Farm wise got way too excited and ended up with £14 worth goodies, I don't think I will be able to eat supermarket pears anymore... And picked some broccoli and cauliflower, but didnt have time for picking carrots as almost were late to get DS1 from nursery (crazy traffic).
So that's it, will do more veggie planting for next year, failed a bit with tomatoes this year will do better next year as bought loads of equipment from Wilkos :)

    Afternoon all.

What a couple of days. I'm almost finished with the work on Wednesday's pickup shoot, then I can get back to my actual job!

A big shout out has to go to PD for driving me half way across London yesterday to find a international shipping centre to Fedex from. She even bought me boxes, bubble wrap, tape....everything I needed. Can't thank her enough, it really saved a panicking girl's bacon.

Cannot wait to (mentally) put my feet up today. It seems like bliss to just have reading and research to do after the nonsense of the past couple of days.

I've got a pile of coupons I need to go through and I'm really looking forward to it :D

Sorry to read about your chicken FC. I hope your breathing continues to improve and you're resting up.

Talking about washing. Hypothetical question here. Do I do the washing today with a not quiet full washing machine and hang it out to dry. Or wait till tomorrow when the washing machine will be full but it may be raining so will have to use tumble dryer. Which is the most economical ?

    tia :D

    Morning all.
1st option. I always try and keep up on good days even if not quite full. I would regret not doing so tomorow when rain arrives as by Sunday there would be too much for one wash. Hth

    Morning all

I'm in the dog house this morning with the OH :o
Went out after work last night and didn't get home at a reasonable enough hour. My phone was dead which I know isn't good, so he couldn't get hold of me when he woke up and realised I wasn't in. So now he's peed off with me. Thing is, he's going out tonight, will I get any phone calls to update me of his whereabouts...

Anyways now I've got that off my chest it's time to go collect DD from nursery and get some bread and milk.

Do you want to borrow my knee pads? :D

Go to the nearest garage, buy the worst bunch of flowers they have and give them to him. If he is anything like my OH was years ago he will know these flowers have magic powers that make everything better and wipe all the guilt away. I have did this to my OH once in recent years when I peed him off and I was at fault..........properly shut him up after all the bunches of magic flowers he had bought me in the past ;) :rotfl::rotfl:

Oh and don't expect any phonecalls then when you don't get any, you won't be disappointed ;)

Hi all - late start for me as been busy sorting bits and bobs out. Just did a spreadsheet with my grocery spend and apgs and since last Friday We have spent £200 on groceries  And I have £59 apgs pending.

As it has been ds2s birthday we have spent a little more than usual but I am still shocked at the bill. There are 4 of us at home - but I really need to get the grocery spend under control. Can I ask the Elite with kiddies if they have managed to get their shopping bills down to a manageable amount?

My freezer is well stocked so not much spending to be done in the next week or 2 but will still need to top up on fresh veggies, fruit, milk, bread....

Shocking though it may seem, I have never totted up what we spend on groceries and I would have said £70 a week - seems I am way out :( Scary to think what I must have been spending in the past and not getting any money back from anywhere.

What does anyone else think of the Euphorium Bakery? We've just got one in one of our Toscas. Its sooooo expensive - £2.50 for one slice of cake or a tart
Don't think its dong too well - the SA was emptying plies of stuff into a bin bag last night. I asked him why they don't reduce it first but he said Euphorium are separate to Tosca and if they reduce it it devalues the brand  Wicked to throw all that perfectly good food away. I'm going to ring CS and voice my disgust.

omg thats discusting do they have a twitter feed if i could use twitter or facebook i would shame them in to changing there mind or am i being mean?

if they dont want to reduce they could give to charitys theres lots of places that would take it what utter idiots :mad::mad:

nothing more devaluing than selfishness and upyourselfness (is that a word?) greed;) and they all the above and more

p.s iv never seen one i did see a "decks cafe" in a tescos i passed the other day looked bit out of place tbh
