I don't see to be finishing many of the lists, but am aiming for an improvement at the very least!

This is good advice, aiming for improvement here too. Our office is still defeating me and now I think I have lost a cheque which is a bit worrying - but it may be that I never had the cheque in the first place, I cant remember!

I really really need to find the time to sort out all these bits of paper.

But first the dog needs walking and the washing needs sorting.

    Will report back later.

iona if you could see our garden you would cry with laughter - no way can it be described as clear. ive got a row of half massacred conifers, and still loads cut of that needs getting rid off it will take till half term i think to get rid of it all. we cant commit and cut everything down till we have a price for the fencing. then we need to sort a date to do it so im not done in the garden yet. but thank you for having such confidence in me.

I have re-edited the Challenges list, mrs-mp - but please don't underestimate your achievements! I might laugh at the way the conifers look now (I hate conifers with a vengeance and in 45 years this is the first house I've lived in 45 years that isn't overshadowed by any :D ) but I can only applaud your energy. I still haven't dealt with this morning's molehills

And meanwhile I'm still struggling to get these resource boxes finished for tomorrow. I have been waylaid by some online research into a 19th century lady of the NT house where I am volunteering, which is totally unnecessary but much more fun! But I will go and make myself a :coffee: and then knuckle down to the real work. DH is out at a U3A committee meeting, so I have no excuse except that I'm really tired. Hopefully the caffeine will wake me up.

Anyone care to join me in a cuppa and 2xHHPaperwork?
  • just for you iona, so you can see how loved my conifers are (not)

Enough space to grow all your own veg :D - but it will need a lot of manure to improve the soil again.

Lovely! Is this for your school harvest festival? Who's going to wear the bee hat to go with it?

Plodding on with my paperwork and making some progress, though still very slow :(
    Might need another :coffee: :p

Been out with DS2 to get more bits he needs, very nearly there thankfully. Got a bit of shopping and dropped that in to Mum, she is definitely still not right.

Lacking GUAG now I'm back, will tidy up the kitchen before I start dinner.

DS is "starving" again. He's just ploughed through a plateful of ham and cheese pasta and threatening to eat DDs as well  she's only nibbling because we had late breakfast, so she didn't want lunch and ended up eating a couple of potato wedges at 3pm.

I've got half a mug of the soup I made, it's lush.

I don't know how to fill him. God help us if he's about to grow out of his school trousers after one month... Lol.

Tonight's flying will consist of staying on too of the kitchen, and some tidying in the living room and conservatory - looks like toys r us has barfed here lol

Mrs MP.. I bet your neighbours are delighted to get rid of the eyesore.. their garden must be transformed!! Next door has 2 conifers and I want to shimmy over the fence and burn them to dust.. those and the ancient apple tree that shed rotting apples and dead leaves in my garden 3 months of the year..

KH couldn't be arrised to pick Tiddles up from school so sent his baggage.. who is obviously too scared to face me so rang to ask if she could pick Tiddles up from the office as they were 'running late' .. HAHAHAHA.. next time they do that I'll be picking her up and bringing her home.. he moans when she is late in a morning then can't even bother picking her up!!

School nurse rang me concerned about Moomins walking.. So I hd bit of a rant.. explained all the dicking about KH has been doing and getting the 2 girls to spend 2 days chopping and stacking wood for his stove.. Moomin is too soft to say she needs to stop and he won't let them sit and relax so as a result she has spent all week on paracetamol and ibuprofen for the pain in her legs mainly but her back too. Her feet were also hurting after some oaf kept trampling on her during pe when they were doing netball. Anyway, I had me a wee rant about the school badgering her about her boots and said it is out of order them intimidating her like that, and said I can't make the hospital staff churn letters out quicker!! and then I filled them in on the crap with KH.. so relevant staff are being made aware and while I try to protect her from his evilness I think I am fighting a losing battle, I need a bit of Disney going on here where good vanquishes evil and we all live happily ever after.. :p

Bossy.. shall I save our age 14 and 15 trousers for you for next month?? haha
