I can because it happens all the time and the people who make these remarks are perfect and have never made a mistake in their lives.
On their 18th birthdays, they all suddenly knew everything they needed to know to live mistake-free adult life.
If I was like them, I hope I wouldn't also be as smug and unhelpful as they have been to the OP who is already under a lot of stress.
The OP has chosen to be under a lot of stress by getting involved in something that doesn't really concern her - I can't see much wrong in pointing that out.0 -

She made a mistake like we all do, she did not choose to be under stress.
I hope people point out how you chose to be under stress when you make a mistake.
You sound really lovely.0 -

And I think people on this forum are getting involved in something that doesn't concern them
This is not a forum to tell people how to deal with their offspring as they reach adulthood.
It is a forum to offer advice about housing related issues.0 -

It's her son who has made the mistake, not her. Always a good idea to remember that parents and their adult children are separate entities.;)0 -
I have no idea what point you are trying to make so I will not bother replying to you any more.missbiggles1 wrote: »Always a good idea to remember that parents and their adult children are separate entities.;)0 -
Would be interesting to know if the son has actually asked for help or even thinks there is a problem. Doubt having mummy fussing around is doing a lot for his credibility with his peers.missbiggles1 wrote: »It's her son who has made the mistake, not her. Your kids aint gonna noble prizes. Im pretty sure of that.

Let's hope that when you have a major problem that people are as sympathetic as you have been to the OP.
But of course, you are perfect, so you will never make a mistake.
Remember, pride goes before a fall.
Youve judged me as perfect. Very nice compliment as that is I dont think you know enough to make that call.0 -
