His job? On a public forum? Whatever his job he has a working phone with working fingers:rotfl:

So do I, but I'm not allowed to use it or have it on my person at work, and I often go all day without getting chance to use or check it.

If that's not likely to be the case, fair enough, but as far as we know it might be a possibility.

I hope you got good news at the doctors anyway, that's the most important thing.

that I should go and sulk upstairs,

This bit bothers me ... Do you often 'go and sulk upstairs'? Is that normal for you? And if it is, is it (1) a healthy thing to do and (2) something that he should throw in your face as an "if you don't like it you know what you can do" style of thing?

He told me to ' go sulk upstairs' another polite way of saying ....:)
Sulking healthy? Uhm negative aren't are they? Certainly achieves nothing, sorry not understanding the last bit? Know what I can do as in go? All he had to do was show some interest/ support/ care/ lend an ear and call up, hardly difficult one would presume?:)

In that case, unreasonable or not, I'd be a bit ranty as well.

Busy or not it doesn't take much to touch base with your OH when they've got a major appointment.

I hope your decisions aren't too difficult and things get better for you soon.

I don't blame you for being annoyed and upset - I would be too.

The least he could have done was make a quick phone call to see how you were. Depending on how serious the health issues are and how worried you were about it did he never even think about coming with you? I know my OH would and has done. Even if I go to the Dr for something minor my OH rings to see how it went and if I am ok. Surely that is what you do when you love and care about someone?
