This is a let off steam, a rant just that

Had an appointment at docs today, big day, lots of decisions which way to go with meds, a bit nervous and apprehensive, OH knew, one would have thought he could spare a moments thought and ring or text to see how the meet went ?

never rang , yes he was at work, yes he was busy, yes he's much more important than me as he brings more to the table , works longer, obviously gets more tired, yes he's home now so can ask now instead he tells me defensively and unapologetically that it's all my fault that I have turned it into a big issue, that I should go and sulk upstairs,

now I'm upstairs, very annoyed, been told that I am unreasonable and ridiculous, crumbs a lot for thinking my OH could be bothered in his day to put in a call !

yes understood it is all pointless all the negatives but really is it too much to have a bit of support?

Rant or not, this makes me sad. :(

Hope everything went okay at the docs. I forgot once my wife had an appointment (had mixed the days up). I apologised profusely when I realised my error. It's not too much to expect some support.

Thanks:D he did not forget just made me feel worthless that in the 12 hours he's been out of the house not even on a loo break or a lunch time or before he drove home or in between meetings I was in any way important enough to touch base with and ask, I feel well , that I'm good enough to do x y z for OH but to him I'm pointless.

I think I'd be a bit peeved too, tbh.

And no you're right, don't be drawn into giving details away about your drs appointment. Too many nosey parkers on this board :p

I assume by the use of "his" in your post, OH is male?

A lot of them do this - forget stuff or can't do personal whilst at work as it's multitasking. My OH will only respond to my texts if I'm going through big stuff and I text to say how its gone. He never initiates - just not in his make up to do that.

    It's flipping annoying, I agree.

    Grrrrrr victory's OH, Grrrrrrrrr.

But you know he still loves you, right? He's just been a doofus.

I agree its not impossible, it's just flipping hard for them to get out of their zone. I don't think that way, neither do you, so can't comprehend why they wouldn't either.

Of course he has your back - he brings food to the table, eh? ;)

Boys. Grrrrr. Sneak downstairs and grab a glass of red if your meds allow it.:D
