I cancelled AOl. I've signed up to BT and will receive a Laptop from them (long contract though) not quite as good spec but I wont pay any extra from what I pay now and there will be no issues switching over, double bills etc. When I phoned AOL/CPW to cancel they couldn't find any of my details at AOL, although CPW had them, and admitted they didn't accept the type of card I had paid with either. I have no idea what they are doing, but I'm glad I stayed with BT now.

Bt are offering the HP 530 if you are taking phoneline and ISP to some one else, I was really wary of moving (as you can tell from my posts lol) It did take 3 calls to find someone who knew the offer, it was only launched last friday and I would say they aren't advertising it much.

Frm what AOL told me, there were issues with the customers details passing from CPW to AOL so they are a little behind resolving this, it may explain why some people are still waiting on bits.

I've taken the offer from BT too. I phoned up and told them that I wanted to cancel my broadband because I was going to go with AOL and get a free laptop and they offered me the exact same deal but on a three year contract. They are also giving me wireless and an internet phone, which wasn't on my previous package but it is the same price (£24 a month) so I'm happy enough :-)
Waiting for it all to be delivered now, it's due to arrive on Monday!
