Get the necessities sorted, go on holiday and you'll have a new outlook when you get back, ready to tackle the rest of the house stuff :)

So my friend never let me down again, checked heating and showed me how to work it so all good (thank god!)

Got my quote from plasterer and joiner in total 600. Sent this to my solicitor with the contact details of them both to confirm if needed. Hopefully they will agree to this and once the money is sent will book the men in right away and lift money out so I dont spend it lol
    . Hopefully good news now.

Tomorrow BT engineer is coming out 1-6 to look at my landline as its not working :/ Will be going to B and Q so I can paint my kitchen. Will not start the cupboard as off away on holiday soon and dont want to rush it :) Also my fablon should be here anyday for worktops again will after holiday... oh and tile paint :D!

Tonight its my friends birthday night out and taking my car, skint lol!

10 days until holiday and 18 days until Belfast xxx

So have you done the semi-hysterical twirl round the living room saying "It's mine all mine" followed by the OMG what have I done what was I thinking?

You should have been thinking I am taking charge of my own life & future & that of my child & that I CAN do this. Because you can. If you are thinking of taking another man into your life just remember that if he lives with you he could end up owning some of YOUR house.

I'm really pleased for you - well done!

Be prepared to change the locks when you discover that they are going through your post (like I did when my son caught my mother). A bummer I know but they won't let go unless you make them.

There will be no man living in my house. Other than my boy :) I am quite anti men these days unless they are my friends lol

No twirls for me until I get that livingroom fixed :( Still awaiting news from solicitor if they are sending me the £600 to fix both places.

Got my first mortgage payment and only £10 dearer for first month well impressed and had money kept aside, this was used to get my son much needed trainers, school rain jacket, school winter jacket, shirts and trousers for school. Means now I only need to get his school jumpers, school t shirts, bag, stationery... it never ends lol! I promised he can pick a big up in Belfast :)

This weekend was busy, my friends bday night out (took my car) then Saturday I painted the kitchen walls and the tiles (tile paint £40!!!) but I loved the outcome. Need to get cupboard paint and still awaiting my fablon to come in post :) then kitchen will be done :D

    7 days until Spain :)
    2 weeks tomorrow until Belfast

Got my council tax letter in and they have not added the single person discount :/ so will need to phone them for this. £75 up per month otherwise when after discount will be £30 higher. Once sorted I might put £100 down on council tax in payment to get it down. See what can be done. Forgot to bring letter to work so will phone tomorrow. I have emailed in mean time saying.

I will also pay my new factor bill that is £21.56 got a card so when home will pop up to shops and pay for this so I dont get hassle lol.

6 days until holiday and 2 weeks until Belfast :)
16 days until payday. I have £300 money left and also already done big food shop (still to pay £8 netflix and £24 for home insurance) so hoping as no money needed for holiday(s) will have about £250 left. Will keep £100 towards house decorating and add on to my mum and dad end of month. will know better by end of month

My son has tkd training day and he doesnt know it but is up for green belt grading. My dad is taking him and if he passes brill and if not no problem at all he will at future date.

Solicitor has asked for more information regarding the previous sellers paying £600 to get my house fixed so better get news soon as I sent the information they asked for....

Nothing else to add. Hoping council tax be sorted soon.
