    Morning.

My solicitor got back to me and good news I have to get quotes for my livingroom wall to be fixed and also the cove upstairs :) They wont fix my sons room but 2/3 not bad and I can save to fix that :)! So I have a plasterer coming out Thursday night for a quote and trying to find a joiner also. Been emailing about.

My friend who let me down big time on Friday says he will come out check the heating is in order Thursday night. I am really worried he will let me down as I need to know by Friday or I am liable. I managed to find the manual for this online so will try tonight myself in mean time so I know radiators work :)

    13 days until holiday
3 weeks until I am in Belfast
4 weeks and two days until payday

Also how long until you find out your first mortgage payment. I have read about HSBC is in arears so will be 3 days interest (released money on 28 June so 3 days) and then full month of July so I am thinking first month will be about 100 more than normal?

    Thanks xx

Hoping that the solicitor will send me money for those to be fixed before I go on holiday so I can pay the correct people and have it done while before I go or while I am away, meaning coming back home to a nearly sorted house. Will also keep plasters number for my boys room and means only need to get flooring for his room and just need to redecorate. Got 120 aside for his room to be done. Thinking it will cos about 500, but will ask for a quick quote on Thursday and start saving :) xxx

You could try asking the plasterer to quote how much extra it would cost to do that at the same time. It would mean he only had to come once not twice so may save you some money.

I seriously worry about some people. That's appalling to leave somewhere in that condition. My son recently bought his first home. Immaculate. The couple who sold it left him everything. Glasses and a bottle of champagne in an ice bucket plus a card wishing him well in his new home.I remember my SiL and I scrubbing my late mother's house from top to bottom before the new tenants moved in because she would have been mortified if she had thought that people would have thought i wasn't clean.
Hope you get it all sorted.
