What a cheek of some people, eh? Our house was disgusting when we moved in - I was pregnant and up a step ladder scrubbing walls and ceilings. Rank!

Your parents are peed off cause you are doing your own thing alone albeit your borrowed money off them due to last minute hiccup with the mortgage lender but once you've paid it off you can tell them to wind it in xx

Unfortunately some families seem to need a scapegoat. When my sister, earning more than twice me & no child to support, paid off her mortgage in 19 yrs instead of 25, she got that's great let's go out for dinner to celebrate. When I paid mine off in 11yrs instead of 20, I got Oh really! They will never change, any good idea of your's will have become your sister's idea. I still saw them as regularly but actually stopped communicating, what they don't know won't hurt them (well you actually)0

Aw monz I can't believe they are doing this to you again.
They just don't appreciate how lucky they are to have a daughter like you and a fab wee grandson that they are able to have a relationship with.

Don't let these things get you down Monz - don't let it put a dampener on your house move.
Honestly, I've never met anyone who has moved into a house and felt 100% satisfied! There's always something that wasn't as they thought, or something broken. To be honest, i'm still not 100% in love with my house almost 4 years later but I know the potential of it and once we've got everything the way we want it then I know i'll love it. It's our forever home and it's OUR home and that's all the matters.
Get the necessities sorted, go on holiday and you'll have a new outlook when you get back, ready to tackle the rest of the house stuffSealed Pot Challenge 075
