So I got this mail -

    Hello Monica

I have spoken to Ross about the intimation and Solicitors response.

As the intimation is not of a mechanical or working nature, you could potentially have a claim to raise an action that the property was not the same condition as when you viewed the property. Before advising further in relation to this, you would need to make a commercial decision as to how much it would cost to fix versus how much it will cost to proceed to raise a claim with no guarantee of success.

If you wish us to take matters further and raise a court action, our costs would be at an hourly rate of £200 per hour.

If you could let me know what course of action you wish to take.

    Kind regards

    Gillian

!!!!!!!!!! So they are basically getting away with it! I have had zero help from solicitors and been treated like crap. My mum is friends with senior partner and phoning him today but wont hold my breath :(

  • What the actual hell!

So either way it's gonna cost you, I can't believe they are willing to make more money out of you for this, £200 an hour!!!!

    Shocking.

So everything aside. I am trying to work out my mortgage for signature.

First payment comes out tomorrow of 465ish and
39 months of 450.03 per month fixed
186 513.99 (will get a new fixed by then and hopefully overpayments added)

18 years and 10 months.... hoping to shorten this to 15 years... :P I like to round it :D

so total mortgage (asked for 84k) with interest overall is paying back 113,962.87

will update signature. First overpayment might not be for a while

Waiting to see if I can view online and then update signature as this is final payment of mortgage without o/payments etc xx

Also found out wage rise will be 50 per month ish.... This will be extra payment to my mum and dad to get rid of that. Mini target of leaving myself owing them 1,000 by New years... I hope :P
