  • just requested my mac after telling them it is not good practice with so much competition to Hike the prices. told them of the sky offer but they could not match or beat it the closest they could come to the sky deal was at £26.50month (LR+anytime calls+BB) where as sky could do it all for £20.40month for the same package.

hope i do not regret going to sky. service has been okay with BT but the price i could not justify with all the BB+LR competion thats out there.

anyone know of any offers going around with sky BB&LR (i am an existing sky tv customer)

Read up on the cashback website help section on how to make a purchase. Topcashback has a guide whereby you can check that you are tracking OK.
  • Spoke to BT re the price hike and boy what an eye opener. Tried every way he could to hide the facts and keep me tied to BT. Glad to have MSE emails as i had read up before calling and at least knowing some info to challenge him with. Told me i had to pay #275 pounds to leave early. Told me - i had until 1 Dec to make up my mind. Wouldnt say what my deadline was to leave. Very unhappy and requested MAC info. DO I now have 30 days in which to find another supplier and when can i actually terminate, so as, to not incur any early cancellation charges? He wouldn't make this info clear.

You have 30 days to finish with them from when they informed you of the price increase

If you want to leave because of the price increase you can (and get refunded the unused part of the advance rental you have paid)

There are reports that they try it on by telling callers that advance rental was subject to a 14 day cooling off period and cannot be refunded but that is soon dealt with!
