Someone needs a lesson in what shares are.

The funny thing is that hpifever also thanked your post, so he is either a bear pretending to be a bull (only to stir things up) or possibly more likely he thought that you were talking about me rather than him lol (he not only doesn't realise that you are taking the p*ss out of him, but he is also thanking you for it).

So London property never been more expensive whilst foxtons shares on the 'floor'. I'm glad I wasn't making my biggest life purchase decision based on the price of Foxtons shares. ;)
Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.

watching the foxtons share price is just a bit of fun
anyone who has had any dealing with them will be :T right now
next week will be interesting, if ozzy brings in some new measures to get "hard working families" on the "ladder" we might see a mini rally. if not i would expect the share price to return to trend.

So making your biggest "lifer" purchase, when this share price could be indicating trouble ahead, into a depreciating illiquid asset is okay?

What would you know about it? Bought at the peak of the nineties, sold when houses were as cheap as chips and have rented ever since.

Foxton's share price is just the latest hook for the serial crashaholic to hang their hat on.

So what is going on with foxtons then? Bad management?

Lower expectations in the market of the future profitability of Foxtons I expect. Tesco's share price isn't looking too healthy but that doesn't mean the price of groceries is about to halve.
