    as paul simon once said
"all lies and jest. still, a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest."
in this case you are disregarding the long term trend.

I also think London prices, certainly outside Central London, will end up at least 10% higher if a Conservative-led government is elected.

I am seeing buoyant activity in my part of London despite the so called 'slow down' we are meant to be in.

If Labour get in, who knows what will happen. But I think the chances of Ed Miliband being our next Prime Minister are rather slim now.

It is slowing down from what was an unsustainable 20-25% HPI but imo it will just lower to a more sustainable 5-10% pa

Oh looky, it's up to 205 now. :)

its a lead indicator for house prices and rents in the regions where foxtons operates.

    That's right, Bubbles. :rotfl:
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

Cheaper leaner online agents are in the ascension now. Guy I know offers everything a traditional agent does, plus floor plans and EPC for free, plus HQ photos and details on Rightmove all for a low fee. He works from home but his website is very sophisticated.

Regardless of share price up or down ...

Foxtons do have a tons of high end real estate to upkeep together with an unpopular reputation, I wouldnt touch their business model with a barge pole in 2015. 2.5% non negotiable required commission is a sign of a cumbersome model to me.

No more traditional estate agents for me personally either. Anything over 1% with zoopla about is throwing money away.
Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.

  • 2.5% non negotiable???? HAAHAAAAAAAAA out of business for them. I have never paid more than 1.5% in the last few years. Sometimes as low as .75% or 1%.

    Jokers.
