Would have thought aberdeen would be more partisan given the oil related immigration but i suspect they seem themselves as holding all the cards in an independant scotland (ie all the barrels of oil). Presumably they have plans to convert the rest of scotland to speaking doric, wearing flat caps and not being very good at football.
Interesting.
Glasgow and Edinburgh are expected to declare at 5am with Aberdeen at 6am. Might be an opportunity to trade the volatility. G & E should both be very strong noes.0 -

Yes Dundee are odds on favourites to have the highest Yes percentage.
Why is that ?
Will we still be able to get the Beano ?
Strong SNP - didn't think they were talking about 70% though. Mindblowing if true.

Thanks for that. Na h-Eileanan Siar Na is due to one of the earliest counts (they're using helicopters rather than relying on ferries) and Glasgow one of the last so that should be interesting/heart attack inducing.

Salmond on Radio 4 this morning.
interviewer : yes but what about the insecurity of not knowing what currency you will use?
alex: we will use the pound
interviewer points out the difference between using the pound and a currency union
alex: we will use the pound
Then they went on about some Spanish minister stating Scotland would need to re-apply for EU membership and all 27 members could veto it.
alex: That Spanish minister has no say about the democratic process in Scotland.
interviewer: yes, but he's right about the veto, no?
alex: He has no say about the democratic process which is currently playing out in Scotland.
Interviewer didn't insist any further on either issue . He probably doesn't want his house pelted with eggs and his tyres slashed by that wonderful grassroots yes movement.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -
I'm almost hoping for a yes vote, because the intimidation, bullying and low-level violence from the yes camp could easily turn into something much nastier if they don't get their way.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0
