Economists Urge Scotland to Vote No......

And this from one of the Mail commentards:Ann17, Norwich, United Kingdom, moments ago
Surely it is time for the electoral commission to step in, this growing violence towards any persons (or politicians) trying to express support or campaigning for the no vote goes against the fairness of the political process. Its intimidation. I am Scottish, live in Scotland but am not allowed to express an opinion, unless its yes.0 -

I repeat, Millipede has been roughed over by Yes supporting roughs in a shopping centre, in Edinburgh.

Well, it's another lovely day for Scotland's new democracy.
Thanks f00x I am about as far South as it is possible to get, is what I thought when I read this.
The video appeared to show Milliband being hounded by about 50 press photographers and film crews, one chap with a vote no banner and some people in the background (possibly about six of them) shouting "vote yes".0 -

It is, in a sense, only fitting that it belongs to Hamish.
Especially as Aberdeen is going to be last to declare so effectively decide the whole thing if it is close.
I smell a betting coup. DAK if Aberdeen is strongly Yes or No?0 -
And now, the truth of the vile intimidation of the Yes thugs.

I thought this was all a bit silly until I read:Farmers have received anonymous phone calls saying their livestock will be set loose unless they take down campaign boards
Worrying sheep. Is there no depth that these Nationalists will not stoop to. Won't somebody please think about the livestock!0 -

According to betfair this morning aberdeen is ranked 6th in the expected order of highest %age yes votes.
Would have thought aberdeen would be more partisan given the oil related immigration but i suspect they seem themselves as holding all the cards in an independant scotland (ie all the barrels of oil). Presumably they have plans to convert the rest of scotland to speaking doric, wearing flat caps and not being very good at football.0 -
Nationalism can never help showing it's true colours.0

No Economist of any note argues that a currency union between iScotland and the UK is a a good idea. It's been ruled out because it's foolish not because of politics.0
