There is no passion for independence at a national level. We established that yesterday.

So you chose to be ignorant of 45% of the voting electorate.

    You like your football analogies.

It was a five a side football game with the Yes side only having 4 guys turn up.

Wouldn't be much of a game if your only going to play with 5 v 0

presumably you would agree the Barnett formula is unfair and is in need of reform so that all the people of this sovereign country are treated equally?

Well, I voted to move away from the Barnett Formula, however the BEtter together Campaign managed to convince sufficient majority in the Scottish Electorate that this would be kept and more powers would be devolved.

Your going to have to take this up with the politicians who have pledged this to be retained with expanded powers.

    LOL, Not at all.

I am surprised you are lowering yourself however, if that is how you wish to conduct yourself, crack on.

You have accused and accused and TBH I got bored with you and have started to wind you up.

Show me where I was rubbing your nose in it before that post. If you get so boring that I post pictures from Top Gear then you've brought it on yourself.
I have and expressed my opinion, which I still believe would have been the better option but accept the democratic decision of the Scottish electorate.

I'm mature enough to look forward and adapt to the situation as it is.

No, you're mature enough to have the hump and get really grumpy towards anyone who supported a No vote. If I were you I'd take the day off and come back tomorrow with a day's perspective.

    I'm disappointing,

Yes you are. I hoped you'd accept defeat rather than get the hump. Sadly it wasn't to be.
but will not campaign or canvass for change if we start to see the benefits that have been promised.

Some promises have been made. I suspect that we'll get an insight into the cluster muck that independence would have been.

    Time, as ever, will tell.

Nationalists had their chance and produced, by your own words, a positive, strong campaign against the disappointing negative No campaign yet No still won.

The Nationalists were at the top of their game for 2 years and the Unionists were slow, dull witted, failed to understand what Scotland wanted and were arrogant and complacent. Yet the vote went for the union.

I was asking you, as a scot, whether you thought the Barnett formula is unfair whether or not the vile Westminster parasites have a view.

Hopefully he's taken my advice and gone to take a little perspective on things. I don't think this bitterness is healthy, just between you and me.

I made my points pre-vote and as a person with a vested interest in the vote, I think I had validity in doing so.

You PM's me accusing me of being a WUM and I clarified there, I certainly have never intended to wind anyone up.

There were some very strong points made by both sides prior to the vote but certainly we were all referring that the decision yesterday is something that would define how the electorcate wanted to proceed and that we all needed to accept that decision and work together on the way forward.

I have never posted anything such as your picture from Top Gear in response to your posts, but if it make you feel any better to gloat on a vote you had no vested interest in, even as a domicile ROUK resident, then crack on.

I have no hump, a little disappointment if truth be told, but already an acceptance that the electorate of Scotland had the opportunity to voice their opinion, which I respect and agree we need to move on from now.

You may reflect that I have always posted from a progressive, optimistic viewpoint and I see no change now in adapting to the will of the electorate and progressively work on what we can achieve in the current situation.

As in all things in my life, I do not see issues, just challenges to overcome.

    .

LOL, where have I not accepted the result.
I don't appreciate comments questioning the consequences as a result of a democratic election.
You shouldn't blame the SNP, they are not impinging on Wales or Northern Ireland as you proclaim, it's the PM that is making announcements and decisions on that front.

As a Scot, I voted against the continuation of the Barnett Formula.
You need to phrase your question to those who voted for the Union (try Hamish, Islandannie, MumOf2, etc)

no, you voted for independence : Barnett wasn't on the ballot paper.

so my question remains, given independence has been rejected by the people of Scotland, do you think the Barnett formula is unfair to the people of the UK and should be reformed.
