Well after finally getting a callback from someone in the complaints team and finally getting through to the CSU, the very helpful Lauren has put a 'controlled service' on the account which basically turns it back in to a planned overdraft (comparable charge plus fees). Not sure why the rest of the company is so reticent to actually help people really0
