After so much advice is offered, including from the Bank Rep themselves, and it is all ignored or simply dismissed in an extremely negative way, what else do you expect?
The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....

the advice has been do an SOA - which, I don't know if you spotted I HAVE DONE (just to clarify), speak to CSU which I have still been unable to do despite another several attempts, make a complaint when I have already received a final response, write to the FOS which is an option but will take 6 months and the deed will already have been done (and is by no means a certain outcome), go in to the branch which I have already done and was treated extremely badly, anything I've missed?

In any case, the condescension started at reply 1 so I'l take yours under similar advisement.
  • What did you do about the bank who didn't set up the standing order correctly? If you complain to them perhaps they may be prepared to compensate you for the charges caused by them? Although, as already raised, if money is as tight as you say why didn't you notice the extra money in the other account. When financial situations are so precarious I don't understand why you don't check your accounts daily? What have you got to lose making a complaint to the FOS? Ok maybe it will take a few weeks and the charges will mount up but that is going to happen anyway.

Yep I tried that haha, only superficial help from them.

I know - I thought for the first time ever I was but hey!
  • then keep tweeting them.

No comment on the other bank who didn't set up the standing order?

It just didn't happen, I'm guessing I didn't do it properly online. Just one of those little things with big consequences!

OP you seem to think it's Lloyds' fault that you are in a poor position, you clearly were outside of the terms and they have the right to withdraw a facility from anyone at anytime. You have called the CS person at Lloyds a fool, I wonder if you had been a little more apologetic rather than ranting they may have found a way to help?

If you are in difficulty with finances it is not easy to did your way out that's why loads of people have suggested Debt Free Wannabe where you might get some help and advice. If you think everything is someone else's fault you won't get far in life, one day you need to take responsibility for your choices.

It appears the OP never was after any advice in the first place. They seem to just want to have a good rant, or, as they said in their starting post, "to bad mouth Lloyds" (strange admission to make, I think).

They also appear to be of the view that unless you agree with them on all counts, you shouldn't be posting in this thread (which they appear to consider "theirs").
