Something wrong there as I get 50% off, although I won't be considering the iPhone 6 as spec wise it's easily outperformed by the Galaxy S4 which costs half the price.I get a 30% discount on my o2 account through friends and family.Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car

You do realise you can't really compare raw specs when comparing iOS to Android?====0 -
If you wait a bit.giffgaff should be offering sim free by full payment or monthly(up to 24 months).0

I've seen iOS 8, and all they have really done is add "Apple this" and "Apple that".You do realise you can't really compare raw specs when comparing iOS to Android?
I know the OS can make a difference to some degree, but we are talking way too much of a hardware difference for it not to notice.
For example, Apple use a dual core 1.4GHz chip as opposed to the Samsung S4 using a quad core 1.9GHz chip. RAM wise Apple are still on 1GB whereas the S4 has double that amount, and there are plenty more areas where the Samsung wins.
The price is what tops it though as that is a real no brainer, £300 for an S4 as opposed to £600 for an iPhone 6.
I'm all for VFM whenever I buy anything, but Samsung are wiping the floor with Apple IMHO and have been for a long time.

You've just it all again, you are comparing raw specs, even in your link.
It's about as comparable as comparing a ships propulsion system to a tractors.
There is no easy way to just say x processor vs y processor, x ram vs y ram, Android needs the extra ram and processor because of the way it works, is far too complicated to explain at this time of the night, I'll see if I can find an easy explanation elsewhere and copy it over.
As an example. Have a look at the benchmarks of the 5s vs the S4 you keep mentioning, the differences might just make you see what I'm saying.====0 -

Are you on a refresh tariff? My 30% is off the whole monthly amount as I'm still on my 2012 contract.
I believe when I swap to refresh tariff, I pay the full amount on the phone part but then get a 50% discount on the airtime portion.0 -
Seriously get the print outs of the iPhone 6 plus before pre0ordering it, its umm quite large.

And Im an iOS (and Android/RIM) developer
I personally wouldn't go for the plus as its too near the mini as a phablet and too far away from a phone which can be put in your pocket. 0 -
Don't know if this is legit, someone posted a screenshot of o2 price plan on twitter..

I know what you are saying regarding the way the OS works, but Android is way more customisable and has features that have been around since Gingerbread came out 4 years ago that Apple simply won't wear (eg, call recording and full Bluetooth functionality just to name 2).I'll see if I can find an easy explanation elsewhere and copy it over.
As an example. Have a look at the benchmarks of the 5s vs the S4 you keep mentioning, the differences might just make you see what I'm saying.
I must admit that Samsung's messaging app gets on my tits with it's automatic SMS to MMS conversion once you go over 3 SMS messages in one go or start adding emoticons, but that takes 5 minutes to put right on a rooted handset.
It's horses for courses at the end of the day, but there is no way the extra £300 explains the few features that Apple is better at IMHO.
PS
I just used the S4 as an example, the S5 (which is even more feature packed) is still £120 cheaper than the iPhone 6.
That'll be the one Lee.Are you on a refresh tariff?
It costs me £8.50 per month for unlimited calls/texts, 1GB data (inc 4G when available), and 40 MMS messages per month.
If I go over the MMS limit (which I never have), it then costs 14p per MMS message sent.Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
