Just like Mercedes, they're designed to be reliable for the first owner (who'll only keep it for 3 years on finance). They need to look good (but age quickly, with new facelifts every 6 months), impress the neighbours for a few minutes, job done.

The different between manufacturers these days in terms of reliability is so small it's not worth consideringQUOTE]

Ill-conceived ideas based upon your own misguided thoughts. This helps no one, there is a huge difference between manufactures, you shouldread a bit more and try to educate yourself.

Maybe you should only comment on subjects you know a little about and trynot to enjoy trolling too much as it’s a bit of a sad lonely hobby, all you endup doing is looking a little foolish and an unhelpful moron.

CRVS please can you let me know your thoughts on the 328i from a performance stand point. How do you find the acceleration in comparison to your older E60 525i?

How do you find the handling and steering feedback compared to your older BMW? I once had a f30 loaner and found that it lacked steering feel and felt more 'wallowy' and soft to the E90's.
