    Morning :hello:

Had a nice chat on MSN with my sister last night. It's not that we don't get along - we do - but we have barely seen each other in the last few years as we have very little in common, and don't live anywhere near each other. Also my sis is quite a private person and has never "given much away" to me. She seems to be keen to keep in touch now so I hope this can be the start of us having a slightly closer relationship. I was just saying to my mum and aunties the other day that I feel so lucky that we all get along! So many families have all sorts of problems...

The lock on our front door still hasn't been changed  Our management company is USELESS (it takes them 3 weeks to change a light bulb ) and we are currently looking into right to manage. I thought it may not be possible as my block is all shared ownership, but my neighbour has spoken to the HA and it would seem that is IS possible :j so we are planning a residents' meeting for later this month to get stuck into setting up a residents' association. They are a good bunch, my neighbours.

mioliere - I'm glad you're enjoying Curves, it sounds like a good place. I don't have one near me now - if I'd known what sort of place it was when I lived at my old house (where there was one on the high street) I might well have joined. However I am still thinking I might join the posh place that I can get a deal on through PruHealth even though it's expensive. I was looking at some photos on Monday and my gosh I look fat in them

Must be off now - work deadline today  Might go to the Proms tonight but the music list is one I could take or leave. TBH I think I fancy another night at home.

    Rzl xx

    Morning all,
    Hope you are all well.
Still in a bit of a daze here i cant seem to be overly happy until i have told my mother.
Hubby is over the moon which i'm really glad about but he wasn't too impressed when i told him he now has to go for the snip.
I have plenty of time to pluck up the courage to tell my mother i dont tend to show until im about 6-7 months plus she lives in edinburgh and i'm in notts so that should help.
I know my dad will be fine he's chilled out and doesn't talk to my mother anyway!
Went into tescos for some lemons this morning and couldn't help but look at all the really cute baby clothes.
I would love another boy, i already have Ewan aged 8 and Logan aged 2, but hubby would like another girl, abbie is 6.
To be honest one girl is enough for me.
We have four bedrooms so space in the house isn't a problem but i have just realised we wont be able to fit everyone in the car!
Oh well i suppose things will sort themselves out.

Natzini, ignore the 'teacher haters' it isn't personal against you. My mothers partner is a deputy headmaster at a secondary school and he disagrees with alot of the government guidelines on teaching. People need to understand that teachers have to follow rules if they like it or not.

    Have a good day all.

Three weeks? That's quick. Ours takes three months! And that's if we're lucky

    Morning! :hello:

    Just a quickie as I'm cooking. ;)

    Congrats Heaven :j :T

And well done on the weight loss Taplady.

Had a good OS day yesterday and made a big batch of veg soup and used my swedes and leeks from the garden. Also made a bottom of the fridge pasta sauce into which I sneaked all the veggies my children consider to be evil and they wolfed the lot. ;)

Took the girls to see Shrek last night and it was very funny. They just enjoyed the experience of the cineam even though it only has 20 seats. :rotfl: We don't do multiplexes in the Highlands. :o

We had pork chops and cabbage last night and OH announced that he loves bubble and squeak. How I didn't know this after 10 years I don't know. Soooo being a dutiful wife I have prepared that for tea and am marinading chicken breasts in rosemary, garlic and olive oil to go with it.

Beds are made, hoovering done, BM on with french bread, kitchen and bathroom swished. Just need to get dressed now. :o

Then we're off to the giant soft play which the girls love but is 50 miles away. The best bit is it's supervised by childminders so I get to wander round morrissons for an hour. :D As we are stuck with only Tesco here it's nice to get to another supermarket for a change. How sad does that sound? :o

Have just burned the spuds. That'll teach me to just pop on here for 2 minutes. Off to cut off the black bits.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

    Morning All

Lovely and sunny start this morning but a bit overcast now but boy is it warm.

Tired mum - dont think I will be on the a13 today but if I do I will keep a look out - wouldnt be too hard to miss though

Nelski - dont talk to me about Next, I had a 7pm slot found loads of stuff in my and my kids size - was up to about £150 (but would have cost lots more full price) then the system crashed - couldnt log back on as I had gone past my alloted time - tried to not get too stressed about it and am treating as I have saved £150.

Feeling very tired and have no energy whatsover at the moment so am going to finish some paperwork, hand washing out and have a lie down - I dont like doing that in the daytime normally but Im so shattered i wont get anything done.

Oh and must marinade pork before I do as we are having pork kebabs for tea, thats one of the dinners the whole house like so no moaning tonight.

Nothing else to report - best get off now - have a good one.

Plans for this evening have changed, my brother phoned as he's going to be in town later :j so we are going to go for a pub meal.

The reason he's in town... HE'S FLAT HUNTING :j :j :j He was supposed to be moving to Guildford but now it looks like he's moving to London :j :j :j He's just about to start a graduate traineeship which is based between the two.

So I should be getting to see more of him :j :j :j

    Hello everybody,

It was freezing here this morning. 0 degrees. Lucky I've grown a bit hardier but everyone else was feeling it. Been very busy with DGS. He's 2 years 4 months and is quicker than a speeding bullet. Poor Benny is traumatised :D XDIL is leaving him with us tomorrow and coming back Sunday so that should be fun. I need to lose a few lbs anyway. :D Well done Taplady on your loss. :T

I have only skimmed the threads the last few days but congratulations Heaven & I'm glad DH was happy. I"m sure your Mum will be too.

Hope you all have a lovely day. Byeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Me too :rotfl: I've got 2 boys and a girl -she's enough for anybody:rolleyes:
Congratulations  but not too many;)

Who is that on your avatar Heaven, it's really bugging me ?

I'm making the most of the last few child-free days. I've made a batch of bread dough which is rising, and a couple of carrot and banana cakes. One is destined for a teacher with grateful thanks and the other is for the freezer. I'm also doing loads of washing today as it is so nice here. Tomorrow is going to be wet apparently so I thought I'd get ahead and wash and dry some bedding before it starts. Enjoying some peace and quiet now.
