My house needs me to be in this week!
Monday - Kitchen
15 Minutes..
Clear and wipe the worksurfaces, only put back what belongs here
30 minutes to spare..
Sweep and mop the floor, right into the corners and wipe any skirting boards kick boards
Wash out the washing machine drawer
Got an hour...
Clear a hotspot
Are the spiders coming in from the cold, go on a cobweb hunt
Wipe down some paintwork
Sort out the baking cupboard/pantry - use those almost empty packets as inspiration for something to bake this week
Extra challenge:
Choose your messiest drawer and give it a good tidy, wipe out if you have the time
Renew library books, fill in that form you've been meaning too, check for birthdays in the next few weeks.0 -
I think I updated the list just before you posted, nicki - having checked again and realised that I'd missed your desk achievement off the updated list. You definitely deserved a star for that! Sorry for missing you first time round.
You didn't miss me the first time, I only posted it at 8.20am today
The pork is supposed to be marinated overnight :wall: So beef in ale put on low in the SC instead, washing up done, work tops wiped down after breaking my spray bottle of stardrops  Managed to change the top bit over for another bottle I rarely use but you can't buy the spray bottle one in store any more it would seem, although I have been refilling this one myself for about 2 years lol. I'd have to order online! Time to hunt out a spray bottle in one of the shops if I can find a decent one
I've also dealt with a phonecall from Mr A about my refundThanks to unavailable/not delivered stuff, my £40.11 shop (to make use of the delivery pass I've bought with a minimum order of £40 each time!) has actually cost me £38.13
Right, time to get the white emulsion out and do some touching up :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Morning all
Lovely sunny day here too dusty, I do love this time of year!
Thank you and natty for the lists.

I'm coming back into the fold!
I was 9 months pregnant last time I was on here back in May. Fly bump is now flybaby of 18weeks old today and my house is a tip! Unfortunately she is poorly with reflux and I don't get more than a couple of hours sleep at any one time so I'm exhausted but that can't be an excuse any longer.
I'll start with the 15min challenges and anything else I have time (or inclination) for. (Bathroom needs a wipe over today as we have people coming from the children's centre!)
SK xAfter 4 years of heartache, 3 rounds of IVF and 1 loss :A - we are finally expecting our miracle Ki11en - May 2014 :j
And a VERY surprise miracle in March 2017!0 -
Morning  thank you Dusty and Natty, I am in this week and going to try to follow the lists properly and worry about decluttering/organising when I have time.
That said, car is loaded for the dump, lots of cardboard and kindling and a dried out log stuffed in log burner ready for it's second test burn to "cure" the paint on the outside of stove.
DD3 has been decluttered to school by car.......as she is grounded again (absconded on Saturday and had to be dragged back to the house teenage boys and teenage girls GRRRRR :wall: ) and I caught her trying to leave for school at 7am (she should leave at 7.50 to walk the 2 miles she needs to!)
email to bay of e as to where my order is (I have ordered some jumbo cord upholstery fabric to make some throws for the LR sofas, to save my sanity, spoons and v@x liquid for every little mark that appears on it courtesy of youngest Skints )
spent an hour washing worst of marks out of LR carpet, I haven't got enough spoons and time to spare to do a thorough 6 or 7 hour job on it.
my spare bedding folded into nice neat "present" parcels ready to go in cupboard.
Builder here since 8.30 and supplied with first brew of the day already.
DW on. Fridge fling has taken place....ready to clean out later (not too bad since using plastic baskets in fridge, spillages contained in baskets, so a quick wipe of the jars and a new basket and fridge looks good again....and the dirty basket gets a fling in the next DW run)
Deal struck with nice NDN, I sort my composting bins into bread, cereals fruit and veg scraps for his chickens' meals every day, and the council can have the other bits - in exchange for a daily supply of their extra eggs :money: It was always nice receiving a tub of eggs occasionally but apparently Mrs NDN is trying to diet, so my turning up with chocolate thank yous has proved too much temptation
DD2 off to Canterbury tomorrow, so the rest of the day will consist of getting her all ready then taking DS to his big school for the afternoon.
Tonight's tea is going to be HM vegan curry as a farewell dinner for DD2, so I will need to be getting on with listy soon otherwise I won't get any time for prepping tea.
Right time to get a wriggle on :wave:The cold never bothered me anyway0 -
Anyone fancy a 10.00 HHC? If so feel free to join me xFlymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0

Back from school run.. stocked up on bread and milk and got a small tv unit for the back room to house consoles etc.. it even has doors so the mogs cannot wee on it all!!
cuppa made, so I am going to glug that and then make a start on box filling in the girly room.. I have so much stuff to sort through!!
Dots word of the day 'AAAAWESOME!!' .. said in a growl.. and Pixie's new word.. 'hanker' ... it seems to be thank you, they are part Dutch I guess.. she says it whenever she is passed anything or gives you something so I guess that is what it is..
She came out with' hand' quite randomly while poking OH's hand this morning.. she is now walking quite nicely most of the time.. she is not having shoes just yet.. far too much money to be outgrown in 5 minutes.
WM done, I need to hang that out in a minute.
I even got my hair washed and stuff before school this morning.
Squeak started her second week of school without a squeak.. she seems to love it thankfully... we will see how she fares when they start full days on Friday!!
I'll be heading off for HHC at 10:45 is anyone wants to join in??LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
As usual you are going 20 to the dozen, mrs-mp :T
I will have to do an abbreviated version of your achievements when I update the challenge list again in a minute, to keep the post to a manageable length, but please don't think I haven't noticed
iona, dont worry about re logging what ive done its more so i know im achieving something and to keep me motivated. it basically comes down to "i did some decluttering and a bit of crafting" which were my goals;)SPC~12 ot 124

I'v been with you Mumto2, hoovering the entire house, just stopped for a drink before I finish off, hovering always makes me thirsty.
