  • Hi all

Busy day with the paid stuff tomorrow but I will try and empty some more things out of the kitchen. Hubby wants to start taking down some of the wall cupboards. Oh and I have some ebay parcels to send so that must be done tomorrow too.

Must make appointments for dentist and optician. Both are well overdue!

    Evening all

I'm in this week, I'm back at school and trying to have a better work life balance plus I'm away to Tanzania on a teacher exchange type visit during October half term so won't be able to just leave everything and catch up then like I usually do!! SO I must be more organised!! And I plan on starting thie week!!

Glad it's the kitchen, mine needs doing badly :j:j

    Monday - Kitchen
    15 Minutes..
Clear and wipe the worksurfaces, only put back what belongs here
    30 minutes to spare..
Sweep and mop the floor, right into the corners and wipe any skirting boards kick boards
Wash out the washing machine drawer
    Got an hour...
    Clear a hotspot
Are the spiders coming in from the cold, go on a cobweb hunt
    Wipe down some paintwork
Sort out the baking cupboard/pantry - use those almost empty packets as inspiration for something to bake this week

    Extra challenge:
Choose your messiest drawer and give it a good tidy, wipe out if you have the time
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

Two thirds of the ironing done, 2 books covered for DS3, DH has tidied up in the kitchen and put DW on. DS3 all tucked up in a clean bed.

Time to call it a night, I have so much I want to make a start on tomorrow. Sleep tight flyfriends.

  • Hi all

    I'm in again this week.

Thanks for this week's list dusty and natty for last week's.

    This week's plan of action:

Remove wallpaper from kitchen wall (yes I've still not done it!)
Take garden waste & empty paint tins to the dump
Fill in hairline crack on bedroom wall
Fill in shower room patches in the paint work
Put radiator cover and dri buddy on freecycle
Put n@twest pigs & chest on gumforest
Get my Dad to fix pantry door and finish the chest in my bedroom
Order pea shingle, slate and new kitchen door.
Get spare rooms ready (make beds, make them viewing ready)

    Have a great week all

    Deco x

I have done my tax return :D I made a mess of the (short) paper form, so decided to submit it online, but that took me half an hour by the time I'd worked through all the irrelevant questions and corrected my stupid 'errors' - how was I supposed to know where you leave a box blank or where you put a zero? The result is that I owe HMRC 70p. Well, they can wait for it!
