MyCSP incompetence

Sad to see many others having problems with the terrible service offered by MYCSP.
It's been 4 months how since I received a response to my formal complaint which ignored most of the issues and shifted blame to myself and my HR/payroll department. That letter said my request for compensation would be passed to senior management and I would received a response.
4 months. Nothing.
Last Friday I phoned the helpline and was told I would receive a callback from a manager the same day. Nothing. I phoned at the end of Friday and was told it would be Monday. Nothing. I phoned at the end of Monday and was told a senior manager would give me a call back by the end of Friday. Let's see what happens tomorrow. More evidence for when I take the complaint further.
Still hate MYCSP.0 -
It will be interesting to see what happens in the end.0

I think they had just hoped I would go away. My fault for leaving it so long I should have been chasing a couple of months ago. The response to my complaint was completely unacceptable. If I don't get what I want tomorrow the IDR1 goes in as well as emails to as many high levels as I can find the details for (excellent info on the previous pages of this thread).0

No contact. Waited until near the end of day to call and the manager dealing with it is out of the office. No information on the system apart from a note from the manager for a callback by the end of this week. Can't get a phone number or an email for the manager.

AS fro emailing people, by all means do.
But send a snail mail by recorded delivery as suggested on previous pages to all you want as this can be more effective in the long run and you can prove you sent it and when it was received, who signed for it etc. All grist for your mill?0 -
This thread has made me feel a lot better. I though MyCsp had singled me out for 'special' treatment :-) I was dismissed from my DWP job on health grounds on 27th June, and was told I'd receive a compensation payment within 12 weeks. Over 6 months have passed and still nothing! As most of you have experienced, I've also been told my ex employer hadn't sent correct details on several occasions. I finally contacted the decision maker who dismissed me, and she emailed all the paperwork to them again. They denied receiving it, so she sent it another four times, forwarding me the read receipt of every email. Eventually she arranged to meet someone from MyCsp to hand the paperwork over personally. This was 2 weeks ago. I moved house a month after finishing my job, and MyCsp refused to change my address as I'm still active on their system, and the claim they can't change it until my payment has been made. I told them every time I rang that they mustn't send anything to my old address. I have paid for a redirection of mail, but it's not been very good. Lots of things haven't turned up, including a cheque from Barclays. Skipping forward, the latest call I had was yesterday, when they happily informed me that my payment had been authorised, and a cheque had been sent out. Guess what? Yep, they've sent it to my old address! So now I have to wait for them to cancel the cheque before they can make a BACS payment. They had my account details, and it had all been clarified in the past that they'd pay me in this way. They've told me it could take some time to cancel the cheque and they have no idea when I'll get my payment. In the meantime, I've been living off my credit card, and the interest is building up! I'm tearing my hair out now and don't know which way to turn. They really are a disgrace!0

Well, that little rant seemed to do the trick! I've just had a call from MyCsp to say my cheque has been cancelled and a payment has been issued by BACS, as originally requested. It should be in my account in 3-5 days. Watch this space folks! I hope you all get a good outcome, and very soon. Nobody should be going through this kind of stress, especially people who've been recently widowed! Good luck to you all.0

My husband decided he would retire early this year & set the ball rolling Sept 2013! That was Capita. He just got fobbed off. Then the switch to MyCSP in Sept last year & the same story. All the usual excuses as outlined by others in previous posts. He officially retired aged 58 on the 31st Dec' (last month). Before that after phoning MyCSP numerous times he was told before Xmas that everything was OK. They even phoned him 3 times & said all was on target, took his bank details over the phone etc etc. But last week he wanted to know for sure his pension & hopefully his lump sum would be paid 30th Jan, so phoned. You guessed it.....nothing done....now told he hadn't filled in any forms & that they'd send out in 5 days time. But they never arrive. He rang back to see what a different adviser would say. 25 min wait to get through everytime! My husband insisted on speaking to a manager/supervisor, but they are always in a meeting or not at their desk. He asked why couldn't the forms be emailed? He was told they don't normally do that but the advisor said he would speak to his supervisor & so took our home email address. The advisor also slipped up & said they were working through all the claims in date order. When asked what date they were up to, he spluttered "can't tell you that". My husband did get a supervisor's name....*....but no further! As we are well under state pension age & I don't work now, we have no other income.....I am really worried. We have a little savings but that won't last long.......what are we to do? I know we are not alone but this is just ridiculous. I agree too that if this was the public not paying HMRC on time, we'd have to pay interest, so MyCSP should do the same!!
There must be hundreds of people waiting on MyCSP pensions etc......isn't there something we can do enblock? Watchdog! springs to mind.....any other ideas?0 -
Well, you could always try a few newspapers to see if any of them are interested in running it as a story.
Headlines such as 'Catastrophic failure of privatised government pensions department' followed by 'Pensioners being forced into poverty by non-payment of pensions' looks like decent newspaper headlines to me.
