What i would like to know, is why Capita were replaced with My CSP? Was it to save money?
If so, they clearly haven't. AS the compensation payable for even the delays if not punitive will outweigh any possible savings.

After making a fuss last weds my friend received a phone call stating that authorisation for outstanding payments had been made and that claim forms would be sent 1st Class
These were duly received on Saturday 20th Dec complete with a letter
dated 29th SEPTEMBER
needles to say she is no more amused than I am that it has taken My CSP over 7 weeks to actually post the above
Clearly the Ministers involved will be receiving copies of letter and postmarked envelope0 -
make sure you keep copies for her complaint/compensation.0

Why do politicians continue to peddle this myth that removing public services from competent, diligent, trustworthy Civil Servants, imbued from day one with integrity and a strong service ethic, and handing them over to private enterprise, imbued from day one with self-interest and a strong profit motive, is ever going to save money or lead to a better service? Does anyone really believe this nonsense?
The creation of MyCSP as a "flagship mutual" was projected to provide a "25 per cent reduction in costs for the government and service improvements for members".

I agree, but yet suspect it is because they know the true cost of DB pensions to the employer.0
