IPC allows my appeal (initially disallowed) and informs that charge has been cancelled. I have appealed with the standard letter + they have missed the 56 days to issue Notice to Owner.

Thanks to everyone who helped me one more time.

Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Click on words Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Newbie thread is the first post. Blue New Thread button is just above it to left.
  • Just had a win with a short, poorly worded (and now I re-read it, typo heavy) appeal. There may be something useful in there for the experts, or PCM may have just given up on economic grounds. The appeal decision came back very quickly, so possibly they just couldn't be bothered.

As a new user, I can't post links but it's this thread:

Case lost on pepipoo where it was the OP's own space (see post #30):

The IAS Adjudicator there is shown stooping to a new low, quoting the OED at people as if they don't know what 'display' means. In fact the IAS don't know what 'Unfair terms/disguised penalty' means in Consumer law but why would they care?

In what way? We do already know that the IAS is pants and we don't care about that really in view of the bigger picture.

So using the IAS logic, if a leaseholder returns any permit sent to them along with a letter to the Management Company and the PPC stating something like; "I do not agree to be bound by your terms and conditions so I have returned your stupid meaningless piece of paper" then the IAS would allow the appeal?

Why do I somehow think they'd find some other way of refusing the appeal ...

Actually that's a good point. But an OP would have to have rejected it before the PCN date.
