I think you comparisons are different because you got an odd number and Asda is 2 for £10. :)

Thanks Tony...I've realised and edited my post.

The wine rack looks a lot healthier. Healthier still if me and mr TM sign up for Stay Sober October:rotfl:

    LBB,

Would you mind checking the price of minstrels and galaxy counters whilst you're there for me please? They should be £2.09 or £1... £1 would be nice .

    Thank you!!
    X

Sorry, didn't see this in time. Not that it's helpful but my As seems fairly rubbish on the rtc front i.e. nothing is ever rtc except broken stuff.

I am about to post the most controversial thing I've ever written on here.

My heart goes out to the suffering that these poor dogs have gone through but my heart also goes out to the child who (allegedly) committed arson.
He is a child and we know nothing about his circumstances but already there are calls for his head:o
Some children in this country are raised in the most unimaginable circumstances. Poverty, abuse and neglect can warp and scar a child for life. Some live in conditions not fit for an animal.I don't believe that people are born evil but people can perform evil acts. That doesn't mean that we should write them off.

I hope he is getting the hugs he needs right now.

Just like you TM to feel compassion for everyone and to make us all think about this differently. You are an :A xx

I went to my express last night to collect - not that I'd had an email or anything but more on the off chance as I've not got a good track record of having emails etc. (Posted yesterday about it)
but anyway, nothing there so rang CS who told me. Questioned about why no info and she said they'd been overwhelmed (I think they put a few through then realised they were losing money tbh).
Anyway, turns out I was the 4th person who'd rung about it that morning to her so they 'knew about the problem and would do better in the future'. Then she offered me £10 gift card so I would say ring too.
They are currently bogof in groceries so with the £10 off still a good deal, although the card probably won't arrive in time tbh!

In terms of muggle prices I find boots really good but I also get a further 10% off due to being a contact lens customer so if that applies it's good to get them when they're on offer as they come down to below the 10p a nappy which is my max. And I have heard that Aldi are good but there's not one near me.

10ways are quoting a £10 Paypal/eBay voucher that may work on other accounts. I have just received an email to a little used account with a £10 off £20 eBay voucher (different code to that stated) so worth checking.

I got this on a new account, but mine is £10 off no min spend same as 10w. :)

Edit: Just tried this on another ebay account, and although it worked initially, once I'd signed into a different Paypal, the code didn't work :(

TM, that is a well thought out post, and I agree, although some people may not. I sometimes wonder what sort of world we are living in. DS1 was telling me about a fb video of a man in the USA who tempted a squirrel with food to the edge of the Grand Canyon, and proceeded to kick it over the edge:eek: What sort of person would do that to a defenseless creature.
I agree the some people are so damaged by poverty and abuse that they seem to be unable to prevent themselves from inflicting pain on others. Though it has to be said that some people, even those who have been 'well brought up', had every advantage in life, a stable home and plenty of opportunities, still turn out bad. It is very sad.
