but I understood every word
Sorry, I was just trying to amend the post to be as accurate as possible whilst still not causing confusion. I've finally settled on the version I've now got. I haven't said absolutely everything - but if I do that, in order to try to clarify, I'm then going to add confusion that is going to need further clarification. Anyway. I understand it all, quite plain and simple:rotfl:.
I don't think I can add more (fortunately:D).
Right, I think that's me done for tonight - and a further Morries collection tomorrow:eek: - but just before I go, I know I was on earlier about S increasing fuel prices, following A and M, but just a few notes about a few things I noticed in M on Monday!
The Surf 23 wash washing powders, that had for several weeks been on £1.99 RTC in one of my stores (and still had not cleared out) - now they were £2.85:eek:, and with crossed out £5.70:rotfl: - in other words the 'full price' that had been charged at other stores for during a number of previous weeks. I think it was crossed £5.70:think:. £5.70? £5.20? Anyway...whatever it was...
I was sorry to find that the 'RTC' store had now caught up with the offer on offer elsewhere. Last week, they had the offer out at the front but the SELs in the aisle had the RTC £1.99 on them. Now, sadly, they had the offer pricing there. So, that is a price increase - £1.99 to £2.85 - in that store. Promoted as a half price offer by pigbacking on the pricing charged their other stores.
The supermarkets do this sometimes (or even maybe all the time:rotfl:), for example with those biscuit tins that suddenly appear at half price in a store. It's probably legal too. They're been on full price for a few weeks in some other store of theirs somewhere in the country. Don't necessarily mean it's the store you are in.
The St. Moriz items have gone back down to £2.66 - not that anyone here would be buying them:rotfl:. I seem to think I found them at £2.66 the previous Tuesday but, by the Wednesday, in Wrexham, they were £3.99. So, if that's right, it's less than a week of 'established' price at £3.99. It may be a week longer - time flies by and I forget when I did or didn't see them at what price - but does seem to me they've been £2.66 for a lot longer than they have £3.99. So, treat that £3.99 crossed out price with circumspection!
I noticed the Cillit Bang Unblocker was now on offer - £4.49 with crossed out £4.99. Well, that crossed out £4.99 might encourage people to buy it, in effect telling them they are now saving 50pence!:j Except that this item was on half price £2.49 for a number of weeks not that long ago:rotfl:.
Finally, to be fair, M did respond very swiftly indeed recently - though I doubt they were actually doing this in 'response' to my posting on here:rotfl: - you may remember I posted that the "I'(m) cheaper" promo. labelling may start to become misleading because the products had now been kept at that "cheaper" price and that had now started to become the same price every week, such that, each week, it wasn't anymore cheaper than the previous weeks etc. It was beginning to become misleading, although not yet at that point. A week later, I noticed M had removed all it's "I'(m) cheaper" labels and now has "Everyday price" labels on them. That was the point at which...!:rotfl::rotfl:
So, whether or not it was their own lawyers advising them at, at that moment, they perhaps need to change the labelling so that it doesn't become misleading, or whether it was M reading this thread and picking up the issue (I doubt it:rotfl::rotfl:), M have themselves, of their own initiative, with no prompting or any contact from myself, they have, to be fair to them, changed their promotional material so that it's never been misleading.

I'm popping to morrisons tomorrow, I know they sell the Volvic flavoured water in there so will check for COS. I bought some a while back when COS were offering 50p when you bought 2 and at the time they were on offer for 49p a bottle. I'll report back with the price when I have been
Well, we'll see which one of us gets the info. back here first!:):T:T:T To be fair, it'll probably be you (as I'll be checking every item I find in Morries, in theory).
If anyone sees the Al Madinah dates pack (apparently a fresh dates pack, 500g) - I had search parties out last time in my stores and still couldn't find it:rotfl: - please do let us know on here. Supposed to be £1. TIA.0 -

I still have no evidence of these types of things being at the price that is on msm:
Morrisons Raspberries (125g)
[Strike]£1.65[/Strike] 85p at
£6.80/Kg Valid until 15/09/2014
Indeed, we saw this comparing to the APG on a shop yesterday at 99p.
Morrisons Blackberries (125g)
59p at
£4.72/Kg
Where is msm getting this from? As far as I know, this has been 99p in M. I've never seen any 59p price in any of my stores, or in Wrexham. This is now on 2 for £1.50 (with the non-comparable Royal Gala apples packs) as far as I'm concerned! Yet msm.co.uk claiming 59p straight (as it has been doing for weeks)! Anyway, that is all irrelevant (and thus nothing has ever appeared on my M list in relation to this), as you'd compare the 300g Blackberries vs T at much better price per 100g anyway.0
