Made a couple of hampers but totally forgot to buy cellophane. Anyone know where I can get some at short notice? Also what ribbon is best to use to tie the top?

Try a local florist for cellophane. For ribbon, I use several pieces of curling ribbon from the pound shop, but if you want a large bow instead of lots of curly strands, the florist might sell you a length of wide ribbon. You can also use Christmas ribbon - I bought some wide ribbon with wired edges from The Works for 99p.

It's special cellophane wrap that you shrink with a hairdryer. There's a video clip on the Candigifts website that shows you how (skip to about 4.10):-

Their product prices are ok but delivery charges start at £3.99 and would be £6.99 for the size I needed so I found some on ebay for about half the price with free P&P:-

Little tip: You need the have the hairdryer on its highest setting for it to work properly

They sell rolls of cellophane in The Range, if you have one close by.

Hobbycraft also sell rolls of cellophane, or Lakeland sell small cellophane bags.

Ok. So I have a box which I'm putting some champers/glass in. I have bought some cellophane to wrap round and tie up. Will I need to use any sticky tape to tape it to the box?
