Some lovely sounding hampers on this thread, lots of great inspiration. I'm making a Despicable Me hamper for my niece who is minion crazy, so far I have a cushion, calendar, socks & sweets. Any other suggestions would be appreciated however she has quite a lot of stuff already. Was also thinking of a James Bond theme for BIL as I picked up some 007 aftershave recently on offer, now I can't find anything else to go with it?

I'm thinking of doing a coffee hamper for my neice who has just moved to uni and she seems to be spending alot of her student loan in coffee shops. I'm not a coffee drinker so I'm struggling for ideas. I've looked at the costa coffee thats in the supermarket and i think thats just to use in filter coffee machines, can anyone tell me if thats right and give me some suggestions please

Great hamper idea, you are correct about the bags of coffee but Starbucks do instant sachets in a pack in the supermarkets called Via, they are on offer at Tesco at the moment for £2. I would definately include biscuits. You can buy gift cards at the chain coffee shops too if that helps.

There's a CD called "The Ultimate James Bond Film Music Collection", or called something very similar to that at any rate, you could get him that? Or a book on how to make cocktails with a bookmark in place for the martini? Depending on your budget you could even stretch to getting a martini glass or a cocktail shaker.

I might make OH a Lads Hamper.

His favourite things are Real Ales, Guinness, Ireland and West Bromwich Albion, so I might make everything about that this year.

Thank you so much for this - the popcorn tubs would be perfect, I have been looking for something like this. Will definitely try home bargains this week for some.

I appreciate all the ideas and support from everyone. My Mom said that she thinks I should just get him some expensive Clinque for men smellies instead as she isn't sure about the hamper but I really like the milkshake hamper idea... makes me slight unsure now.

I have already got him some CK boxers, chocolate and a 'Hello, handsome' mug (soppy, I know) so think if I go down the hamper route I will do one big Christmas treats hamper with the milkshake things included.

Oh no, the hamper sounds brilliant, don't be unsure! I'm sure your OH will love it!
I had a big baking day yesterday and made loads of fudge. I made Vanilla (which turned out AMAZING), whisky (which I will have to melt again to make the pieces thicker) and chocolate (which came out too thin once set so I dusted with cocoa and made truffles!)

Poundworld are selling lovely rectangular tins with a hinged lid so loads of the fudge will go in there and be given to people.

I'm also making Jamie Oliver's EPIC Hot Chocolate (recipe on Stop the Cavalry Thread). All of the dry ingredients will be going into a jar and will be gifted alongside a big mug (Poundworld again), a bar of chocolate (big bar, I'm nice that way) and 2 or 3 MASSIVE marshmallows that are being sold in the American food sections of supermarkets.

Made my sister a small bottle of Skittle Vodka, and I'm going to use the rest of my whisky to make an infused beverage.

Sainsburys are selling Belvoir Mulled Winter Punch for £2.50 per bottle. I tried some at a Xmas event at a garden centre last week and it's lush (but almost twice as expensive) so I stocked up on Saturday

lulu92, the fudge sounds gorgeous! I think I'll give your recipe a go! Years ago I made fudge with my mum and it was amazing, but we've never been able to find the same recipe since and it's never been quite as good! Love the sound of the epic hot chocolate as well, think I might do something similar for adults as well as the Snowman soup I'm doing for the kids! I saw an idea on pinterest the other day - hot chocolate truffles! Just roll them in crushed Candy canes or mini marshmallows and stir them into hot milk. The only issue is now I've got too many things to try haha.

    Jo xx
I'm usually using a phone, so excuse my spelling please!

Just stumbled across these on the works website - seems a little expensive if you're hoping to keep costs down, but with discount codes and cashback websites it brings it down to something more reasonale. Free click and collect too. Hopefully it'll help a few of you out :)
