Morning all!
Yorkshirelass - My DD starts Year 9 tomorrow, I can't believe she'll be picking her GCSE options by Christmas
DD is driving me mad wanting to put up the bookcases so before I do anything else we're going to do that. That'll mean the books can come down out of my room, the chest of drawers in the livingroom for my room can go up, then my home "office" can be set up, allowing more stuff currently in my bedroom to come down :rotfl: Hopefully I can get that all done by 2pm.
Weeks tasks:
Livingroom:
-Touch up paint work (pipework on ceiling, cupboard door, 2nd coat gas cupboard, back wall & alcove)
-Final coat of paint on fire surround
-Order FF (codes, money back, store card AFTER budgeting to pay for it in less than 12 months)
-Decide on shelves for DVDs then purchase & put up!
-Clean paintwork up (Can't mask things off when painting as nothing is level enough for it to work properly!)
-Deep clean floor
Work:
- Prepare books (forms, newsletter, bag)
- Put books out
- Pay bill
Other:
- BTS shop (socks, ruler, bus pass) Mon Still need a ruler - DD is going out for that later!
[STRIKE]- Shopping: Town (primarni), Local (M@t@lan, HB: Packed lunch, z0flora, soup), Dunh3lm (rods, vacuum bags) Mon[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE] - Mr A shop (instore: fruit, sandwich bits, bread) Mon[/STRIKE]

Question for bakers..
My apples have started ripening and dropping.. I have 6 at the moment and about 20 on the trees.. some are huge... I want to prepare and freeze as they ripen to use all together in a pie or crumble.. or several small ones as only OH will eat them.. so.. do I peel/core/slice and par boil (with sugar if necessary) and freeze?? Then defrost, fling in pie and then oven??
I don't eat apples but it seems a shame to waste these monsters.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
