    Rainy day again

Paperwork sorting looking for a paper bill for proof of identity. Most of ours are online.

Park visit abandoned as old car made a strange noise on leaving the library car park. It knows we are selling it.
    Ds1 taken to docs

    Money shuffled

Glovebox emptied, bag of £coins found. (I put in there when dancepops was in intensive care)

Ds1 has to be in 6th form tomorrow but starts lessons on Thursday
Ds2 returns to school Thursday. He doesn't want a new pencil case so we put it in the wm. Shoes worn for trial run x3. Hopefully they won't hurt too much. I'm wondering if he will be able to wear them in school.

    Evening all.

Nothing has stuck as I've read as I'm shattered so hugs, sticks, spoons, vibes to all

Updated my accounts this morning, minor panic when the phone DD hadn't gone out, checked my recent bill and I have this month as a "Payment holiday due to amount of credit and further DD amount is dropped" :D Then after baths we walked into town (3 miles-ish), renewed DD's bus pass (I budgeted £90 and it was just over £70 :D), went to primarni and got school socks for DD and cozy sock for me :D Round to sp0rts Dir3ct to get a PE bag which will actually keep her kit dry! Jumped the bus to Dun3lm, showed DD some bits and pieces and came home with a hanging vacuum bag, 4 curtain rods, and lots of sticky hooks so I can put nets up :D Came home, back out to H0me Bargains for packed lunch goodies (She can bake at the weekend for next weeks ones ;)), had tea and then went back out to Mr A. And we still don't have a ruler for DD as they didn't have any left in Mr A! I said she can try the local shops tomorrow, but there is not a chance in hell that I'm letting her take my folding ruler with her as it'll end up broken!

I had high hopes for today, but haven't achieved much at all but I do have some C-word gift ideas for DD now as she pointed stuff out to me today ;)

Tomorrow my priority is washing laundry (DD's responsibility to iron her uniform now ;)) and assembling bookcases so I can put the livingroom back together and get my work done as I still can't get in the cupboard where it's all stored!

Time for me to go to bed. I'll be back tomorrow to write a proper list when I can think straight
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

So where did today go to?

    [STRIKE]Check finances (personal and charity)
    6 emails
    2 phonecalls
    Sort birthday cards for September
    Check Minutes from June
    Expenses[/STRIKE]
    Book tickets
    Buy fitted sheets
[STRIKE]Print and[/STRIKE] laminate sheets for church notice board
Go for a walk with DH
Plant out 5 plants (trying to break down this toad into bite-sized chunks!)
    QHI
    [STRIKE]Old Wives' Group tonight![/STRIKE]

I had gone cross-eyed by lunchtime and ended up sleeping for 3 hours this afternoon :o I was so sorry to miss the sunshine again and we didn't get out for our walk :( DH said I looked quite ill, but I feel OK again now. It's not because I'm not eating properly - I do eat well, and plenty of it!

    SEPTEMBER CHALLENGE

Please add me to remind me I am supposed to be dieting. So I shall be having no chocolate and no alcohol (apart from birthdays; lots this month as DS is 21, it's mine, my friends, neice's fiance and nephews GF. But birthdays (5) fall on three days - I'm the only one who gets mine to myself!.

Valli, I'm sure you will find that someone, somewhere not far from you, will be celebrating a birthday every day in September :rotfl: Enjoy! :D

    Welcome Irishmummyof2
    (((Hugs))) charlieyates.
(((Hugs))) mrs-mp and all your family, especially your m-i-l.

I have updated all the challenges to post 61 and will catch up with the thread again tomorrow. My main job in the morning will be to deal with the email cane toad before we go to SW.

Oh Dear - not very nice !! Suppose you know that you should all be treated as it is soo contagious if it's confirmed - and it can take up to six weeks to know if you have it ! Hope it's just a rash eh.

Hope it all goes well for you bossy - I have my fingers xd for you :)

Seemed strange today to start my holidays at home :) Been quite busy getting things organised and of course it all took double time because DH at home and kept 'helping' me :rotfl:

    So today -
I had left all pack-up boxes and flasks soaking so gave them a wash, dry and put away.
Cleaned all the kitchen including cupboard fronts and all worktops, small appliances, micros, oven and hotplates.
Cleared out fridge and cleaned it.
Did freezer shuffle and froze lo soup and gravy.
Did last bit of washing, dried, folded and put away.
    Dusted everywhere throughout.

Went to shops for some bits and pieces to take on holidays. It was mainly snacks for travelling but also battery for e-cig, new fleece for DH and some euros.

Did weeklies for car, checked tyres and went through car-shower.

Went to nursery to get bulbs for balcony but they don't have in what I want yet as only just getting stocks in, so will have to get after hols now :(

Printed off all paperwork for holidays, sorted out my stuff to take and general stuff such as passports, ehics, euro plugs etc and put in spare room next to case ready to pack tomorrow.

Sent DS a what's app message to confirm time of our arrival and then cleared out my emails and did scan on lap-top. Just notebook to do tomorrow ready to take.

Made dinner then WUDUPA so kitchen still tidy.

Hope you all have a terrific Tuesday and hugs/ positive vibes to all who need them

  • Morning all, off to wake DS2 in a few minutes, back to school today. I feel a little nervous and he is going into year 9 at secondary - how silly! Hugs to anyone with littlies going back or starting.

Work this morning then hairdressers. I have more clothes to sort. Thinking about getting some decent vacuum bags from Lakeland to sort out the bottom of my wardrobe. I also want to get some plastic boxes so I can start emptying the kitchen cupboards. OH is itching to start knocking tiles off!

Oooh and just realised I havent taxed OHs van - better do that now!

    Morning flyladies. Hugs/spoons/congratulations where required.

I'm planning to catch up on the dining room jobs from yesterday before gym, bath, walk dogs, then paid stuff. If there's time I'll start on today's list.

    Have a great day everyone.

Good morning all. I have started to deal with the cane toad and done a couple of other things already.

    My to-do list for today:
    - 2 urgent emails (including the cane toad) to be done before breakfast
    - shower
    - S&S kitchen and bathroom (proper flying!!!)
    - phonecall to HMRC (query about my tax return)
    - book tickets by phone
    - SW this morning
    - U3A group leaders' meeting this afternoon
    - do a quick shop for food, birthday cards and more tickets
    - plant out 5 plants (carried over from yesterday's list)
    - QHI
    - laminate notices
    - start shredding old papers from the loft

Hopefully I shall achieve everything on my list today :o
