:TThat's brilliant!!! Delighted for you!told him I would look just like the pic I posted, wearing same coat, jeans, boots. Got reply that he wouldn't consider meeting any lady that wore jeans, or anything less than a skirt and high heels, messaged him to say the last time I was told what to wear was my school uniform, 50 years agp, haven't heard any more from him wonder why?
:eek::eek: the cheeky s*d!!! But I love your style meg.:D Start as you mean to go on.:T As it happens, I often wear skirts/dresses and heels but the idea that anyone would tell me what to wear is unthinkable.
I'm going to try cutting back bit on potatoes by substituting some carrot/swede mash when I'm doing weekday meals like sausages or liver & onions. The trouble is I'm not very good at cooking swede. Anyone have any basic tips?0 -

Update on my plan to make new friends and hopefully someone to share my last 20 or so years, have been bombarded with
messages from a gentleman who thought I was everything he was looking for.
Seemed to have lots of shared interests, arranged to meet locally for a coffee, was finalising details , told him I would look just like the pic I posted, wearing same coat, jeans, boots. Got reply that he wouldn't consider meeting any lady that wore jeans, or anything less than a skirt and high heels, messaged him to say the last time I was told what to wear was my school uniform, 50 years agp, haven't heard any more from him wonder why, oh well as our dear Beanie says, keep plodding. yeah?
Oh dear me! That would be funny if he hadn't so disgracefully wasted your time. I remember once many years ago chatting online to a guy and thinking of maybe meeting him when he said he would really only bother to meet women who look like Britney Spears or Shania Twain. He wasn't terribly interested in me after I said actually I'm more Norah Batty, but I can sing Oops, I did it again as I shove my broom up your !!!!!
There'll be a fair few frogs for every prince, no doubt... keep looking, he's out there!
Well, 2.5lbs on for me at weigh in tonight, but that's much better than I expected, so I'm much relieved. I'm after increasing exercise this week, and WILL stay on plan more than off it. No more "trying", only doing!I believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.
